Default What's going on with affiliate hub (sky)

Just tried to log in and my bookmark (to the log in page) doesn't work, so I went to the main page and it takes you to a new log in page, but the normal username and password don't work.

I'm assuming this is because of the switchover to income access (log in is an income access style page) but they haven't said anything or emailed, just switched the page.

Having exactly the same problem here, if you go to the 'old' login (there is a link to 'check your commissions for May') it works, but the new (presumably income access) login doesn't recognize the old usernames and passwords. I emailed them, haven't had a reply yet.

A heads up would have been nice, don't know whether we need to reregister, whether it will take them a while to transfer the details, etc. etc.

PS check out the new terms and conditions, they have changed. Bingo is now combined revshare and £10 CPA, with a much lower revshare (for instance).

I got a (standard) email from IA earlier today saying it was changing and that new user/pw combos would be sent out seperately, later.

Thank you Simmo, just got back from my (day job) office to find the same email - but I check the stats in the morning before I go in so was wondering what was going on!

    Hi RayUK,

I'm sorry to hear you're having troubles logging in to the Affiliate Hub - can you please PM me your website URL or something that I can use to locate your details and try to trouble shoot the issue?

Also, I hope that by now everyone has received both the email notifying of the switch-over to IA, as well as received the temporary password to log into the system. If anyone else is having trouble logging in, please let me know as I'd be happy to help

And I guess affiliates are supposed to sit back and not be affected by terms changes and lowering of commissions?

    How about addressing that?

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

    Hi Rick,

I'm not sure if you've seen the new commission structures just yet, but they're actually a higher rev share option across SkyBet, SkyVegas and SkyPoker, and a hybrid structure for Bingo, as that was what the majority of affiliate feedback indicated was attractive in that vertical. Everything Sky has done in terms of the partnership with IA has been with the best interests of affiliates in mind. Affiliates have provided invaluable feedback in the past about what needed to be improved in the program, and best efforts have been made to have that the re-launched Affiliate Hub reflect that.

    Regards,
    Deanna

    Have percentages been lowered?

If so, that is NOT in the best interest of affiliates, whether the marketing text says so or not.

The percentages for all but bingo are the same - the range is such that as revenue increases you get a bigger percentage (as is common). For information here is the old/new comparison:

    Old Revshare:

Sky Bet, Sky Poker, Sky Vegas: 25%-35%
    Sky Bingo: 35%

There was a CPA option for all of these on the old system too, you could choose

New, no choice as far as I can see:

Sky Bet, Sky Poker, Sky Vegas: 25%-35%
    Sky Bingo: £10 CPA + revshare 15%-25%

Though under condition 8.11 of the new T&C Sky reserve the right to convert any revshare players to a CPA fee for any reason at any time. Presumably if they play 'too much' Sky can then cut off the revshare and 'convert' to a CPA of an unknown amount. Can't remember if that term was in the old T&C though.

The bingo CPA has my paranoid side tingling. I'm hoping sky still cross converts between the verticals - can anyone confirm?

I would like to know this too, I know they used to but I can't find anything about it in the new T&C (I might have missed it)

    Hi RayUK,

The old commissions for SkyBet, SkyPoker and SkyVegas were previously 25%, 27.5% and 30%; the increase is reflected by structures of 25-35% across those verticals.

    Hi Guys,

Absolutely you will still earn cross-sell commissions between the different products. All affiliates will be given automatic membership to each of the verticals, so not to worry

    Thanks,
    Deanna

Default Trouble Logging In? Not to Worry!

    Hi guys,

Thanks for feedback regarding the affiliate logins. As a reminder please, the usernames and passwords sent need to be ALL CAPS.

We did complete testing and have successfully logged into a number of test accounts. If you still encounter problems, please email us a affiliatehub@bskyb.com or use the 'forgotten password feature'.

We like your feedback so far, so please keep it coming

    Deanna

Just got my log in and it works fine

Quick question, are payments for May still going out by cheque or can another method be used with the new system (eg: moneybookers).
