    Default Locked accounts?

Have any of you experienced being blocked or unable to login to your affiliate account due to the fact that you don’t responde to contact from an affiliate company?

I promoted a brand for a short period of time with a rev share + flat fee agreement. A couple of months ago I removed the links since I didn’t find the cooperation any profitable. Although I still earn some small money with the brand. The agreement period was over so I completed the deal and everything. Since then the aff managers at the company has trying to get in contact with me several times to put up a new agreement. I’ve said no but still they e-mail and try to contact me through other sources. I have not responded since I know they just don’t give up if I give a simple answer. And a couple of days ago I tried to login to the affiliate account to look over the earnings. And I couldn’t get in. I’ve requested a new password and still I’m not able to login. I also have an older account which was not connected to the deal. And with that account there is no problem to login. So could this ”lock out” be a way for the affiliate company to force me to contact them?

Have any of you experience any similar? Sorry for posting in this thread, didn’t know where the problem would fit in best.

Did you do anything about it? This just shows how certain affiliate programs works then. If this is their tactics I feel even more that this is a company I don’t want to continue working with. But still I want my promised earnings and I also need to get specs for my previous earnings due to tax purposes etc.

1st time it happened to me, I was driving up the wall, doing all to contact the aff. program, etc. But without any result. This is just how some brands work.

I think the best you can do is contacting them and asking them to keep their promises. If they do not, just name and shame them. There's not so much you can do about it or you should end up in court in Belize, BVI or Costa Rica or where ever they are located...

Had my account at Betvictor closed today. Knew it was coming after reading others being closed on here but still disappointing. And i just started ranking for some of my Betvictor keywords i was targeting but guess i'll have to send them somewhere else now. I don't think there is much that can be done. Stan James closed accounts on a much larger scale and nothing was done about that.
