Hi Guys,
Anyone can confirm ranking and search traffic unusual fluctuation from the 5th, and 6th of September?
Was unaware of a Google update on 5th September, however my traffic has increased over the past 4-5 days easily. I wasn't getting too much organic traffic anyway, but I am getting more. This could be totally unrelated reasons however.
There's been chatter about a possible panda related update last weekend (5 Sept-ish) but I've seen nothing to confirm the chatter.
I do know there's been a bit of what I'd call minor fluctuations in the search results, which may or may not be Panda related (in whole or in part).
On our side we have experience slight improvement on most of our sites but one of them showed first a sharp increase followed by a sharp drop.
we had a server down time but it doesn't seem enough to explain these variation.
Thanks for your feedback though.
Business as usual on your side Shay!
Searchengineland states: "This past Friday .... there is strong evidence to say Google ran a refresh"
As i am of a skeptical nature just as you seem to be (rhetorically speaking) let's try to confirm with our fellow SEOs!

Thanks guys for your feedback!
Another experiment on their part, I'm sure of which we'll see the fruits of some day soon.

Noticed a couple of changes in the last 2 days for the positive just on a couple of rankings.
I didn't notice any special changes on my websites. Why do you think it is Panda?

I have not seen any changes on my websites. All of my sites are pretty US focused and nothing really to report.
I do wish we would get a PR update. I know I know, it means nothing but I still like to see my sites PR increase. It still gives me a nice warm fuzzy feeling when I see more of that green bar on my websites even if it means nothing.

Hi Christiaan,
There has at least two articles from SEO experts about it. Reference here: http://searchengineland.com/confusio...freshes-202875
On my side its more by elimination that I keep Panda as explanation.
The Panda is included in the algo for long time now, and ot be honest I think all is just normal movements across the charts, nothing spectacular to mention.

Weren't google incorporating Panda into the slow release regular monthly algo rather that doing periodic refreshes?
