    Default article submissions

Are there issues with submitting an article to several article directories? And what other directories are recommended other than ezines?

    Thanks

i suggest you to submit one article in one articledirectory. If you submit same article in a couple of article directories you will get a "great" duplicate content. it will not help you alot.

If you can spin the article to make each one unique, then as many article directories you can submit to the better. The key is to avoid duplicate content articles since Google will treat those with less importance.

It is best to find the #1 article site, I would say that is EzineArticles and post just your article/articles just one time on it. If you post on multiple article sites you run the risk of Google seeing it as duplicate content

Once your article is submitted and accepted, wait a week and then "tweek it". The rule is it must be 40% different from the first one to be not considered a duplicate. Then submit to another website.

There are many articles directories. Personally i use ezine, goarticles and buzzle. There are very useful form me. Ezine is the grandfather of all articles directories. Here you must put only unique content. It's a lot of work but trust me is wort. On other directories you can simply rewrite an article and submit to each other. This is a method that i use for 3 days because i didn't hear about this idea until then Is a good option. But be carefull and change your article how much you can. There are many other articles directories. When you choose such a directory also check if how your link will be submited: do follow or no follow...

It depends where you publish your article, but as we all know Ezine is the most know and the best.... It depends I have pending articles for more then 2 weeks and the Team says that it will not take longer then 7 working days..... so ... imagine all those users that upload there articles, in conclusion we may have some delays..

Article directories can give a quality Back link on your site. You just need to look for a do-follow sites that allow HTML tags on the content as well as on the resource page. I just have my list of potential Article Directories here, http://www.directorycritic.com/artic...tory-list.html

    Hope it helps!

That is a brilliant list. I am going to email the url to myself in case my PC dies on me.

So if i submit a couple of articles to each one and they get accepted my site will move up the rankings.

One question: How do i know which ones are nofollow?

I suggest you to download add-ons, SEOBook toolbar in particular. Upon installing on your PC it has actually a built in tools needed in checking your sites PR, Competitions calculated by major Search Engines, the "no-follow" tool that we need.
