keywords and domain structure

Hi Everyone!

I have a question regarding keywords and link structure

I own a keyword specific domain and I wanted to know more about how to best structure the urls around that domain, as it’s a base keyword and there are many expansions on that.

For example, and hypothetically speaking the domain is “onlinecasinos.com”. so if I have a pages which targets “new online casinos”, “best online casinos” and “Paypal Online Casinos”.

Is it best to structure domains as

• Onlinecasinos.com/new
• Onlinecasinos.com/best
• Onlinecasinos/paypal

Or

• Onlinecasinos.com/newonlincasinos
• Onlinecasinos.com/bestonlincasinos
• Onlinecasinos.com/paypalonlincasino

What would be advisable for such domains and keyword targets?

What you be advisable when the keywords go deeper. for example "Paypal online Casinos no deposit".

• Onlinecasinos/paypal/no-deposit or Onlinecasinos.com/paypalonlincasino/nodeposit

I always thought that you should not repeat your domain name as it would look a bit spammy. Personally, I would have it just as Onlinecasinos.com/new please correct me if I am wrong.

I doubt google is looking at the domain name when it evaluates page semantics. so omitting key phrases or words because the page topic is partially implied from the domain name would probably be a bad idea. Be explicit about everything so there can be no mistakes, imo.

Yes i think google will take a closer look at the page it is loading, i.e. /new-online-casinos - a few years back they stopped using the keyword in the actual domain name as a ranking factor, so i'd guess it does have value in the rest of the url path.
