Any ideas why this is not ranking

Hi All,

I have put up a casino review and we generally rank ok for them apart from a couple. But for some reason although in Google it is nowhere to be seen.

Can anyone shed some light, I am now getting ultra paranoid that someone is fu*king with the site. The url is http://betonlineuk.com/casumo-casino-review/ and has unique content.

I've no idea why it's not ranking, but I lost count of the number of times you used the word Casumo or Casumo Casino in the review. It makes it horrible to read IMO. Keyword stuffing is not effective these days.

I've ranked well for pages where I've written naturally and maybe only used the keyword once or twice in the whole article.

Google is getting much more intelligent.

I proceed for any article a WDF/IDF check. Maybe give it a try. It seems you have some words less as the average top10 pages and some keys are with too low count, some key are missing totally. Btw. the usage of "Casumo" is not higher then the average of the TOP10 rankings for this key!

it looks keyword stuffed to me also, 30 instances.. looks unnatural.. you have also h2 tagged the same keyword multiple times.. over optimization for sure

I did see a search and it did come up in German. I did see that onpage uses it. I do have an account but not sure how to use it?

Google UK keyword "casumo casino review": Not listed in any noticeable way with your complete domain in this moment. This can change every day.

Google USA keyword "casumo casino review": Position 187 [with your new subpage] on desktop computers
Google USA keyword "casumo casino review": Position 151 [with your new subpage] on mobile devices

The monthly search volume on Google for that keyword is so low, that beyond the first two result pages no one will find your website. You have to generate traffic directly through your website.

Thanks for checking, I will be adding some more content about the casino on other posts and link back to the review. i think that is the right way to do it.

BTW I am definitely going to move way from the tipping side of the site and concentrate more on the offers etc...

Perhaps you need some time. Checking the top results on that keyword a lot of the pages are from 2013. Unfortunately not all of these top results deserve to be there, as a few of them literally spammed me with 2-3 full screen pop-ups.... /clap Google.

You'd move up eventually, I'd say. One thing though, that has nothing to do with the thread but I'd highly suggest you get some sort of a cloaking system for your links. Not to protect them or anything but just because A LOT of programs change A LOT of links and platforms and link URL and landing pages and you'd wanna have something like yoursite/go/book1 that can be change within 30 seconds.

Trust if you depend on the books URLs, it gets messy when they start sending you those letters about changing bonuses, landing pages, platforms, etc etc etc.

It would be nice if the big G was consistent as a couple of other reviews do feature highly and there is not a lot of difference between them all. But will look at all of them again and rejig if necessary.

Good point @xecutable about the links, I did for a time have a plugin to do that but removed it as it was plugin city.
I should cloak it is it via the .htaccess file. I do set a lot of them to nofollow but that really is not the way to go I guess.

Patience my friend. A lot of the reviews I post take a good few weeks to surface in the SERPS.
