    Default My Title Tag Not Showing Up?

    I have noticed while using some free SEO tools when I run my pages through the tools, my title tag does not show up in their preview. I ran some other websites through like espn and affactive and they do show a title tag preview so it is not a "glich" in the tools I am using. I would think this is kind of a big deal as the title tag is so important but my website does do OK in search.

    My website is www.onlineunitedstatescasinos.com and the tool I am using is at http://www.rankingtoday.com/seo/site-checkup.php I have looked at the source code of my website and compared it to other websites where the title tag is showing up and I cannot find where or how mine is different.

    If anyone has a couple free minutes and good at looking at code if you could give the homepage a peak I would appreciate it. I am just at a loss because mine looks like it should be right when comparing it to other sites.

    Thanks!

    I don't see why your title tag wouldn't show. It does work, as I see the title from the code on my browser tab. I also see it in Google.

    I checked your code and mine and they're pretty much the same, I'm just using a different doctype and a different syntax for content type:

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
    <title>$title</title>
    </head>

    I can only conclude that the free tools you were using are buggy. They're reading the page source, scraping the data, and then trying to make sense of the data character by character. A lot can go wrong there if the coder didn't anticipate all possible scenarios. A single blank character might ruin the process.

    That's what you get with free tools. But your title is there.

    My site is www.onlinecasinos.fm - and after checking with this tool, it indicates that my page titles are hidden?

    May I suggest that perhaps your title is a tat too long?

    "Best Online Casinos USA Online United States Casinos" might just be too long. Besides that, ask yourself, is this a nice title? Or is your title more an attempt to 'rank on google' with as many keywords as possible with sort of thing. I'd go for the nice short and appealing title.
    This might be seen as keyword stuffing.. Hope it helps.
