Not sure how things are working across the board - eg whether or not each and every MGS program will charge those fees, but IMO - no its not a fair deal. I would ask - are affiliates taking the entire hit or are the casinos also sharing some of that burden?
IMO this is starting to come across like a MGS master plan to booster earnings and put a squeeze on affiliates; course I reckon we still dont know enough about whats going on so speculation is still alive and kicking.
Not sure where you're getting this info mate, but we aren't charging any "new fees"... Same as it always has been.

The 15% fee I was referring to is from Starpartner.

Hi GCG,
This commission report shown above is from the Casino US affiliate program. It must be noted that operation of all US players and the Casino US brand was sold to a third party.
Full takeover occurred 1st of June and Starpartner are no longer responsible for the casino or Affiliate program.<O:p</O:p
In saying this there is NO trading fee with Starpartner.
During the transition period I was in contact with Rachel who is the Affiliate Manager for the Casino US Affiliates.
I will ask her to respond.
Kind Regards,
Melanie

Hi All,
Let me introduce myself. Rachel the affiliate manager for The Casino US.

Let’s calculate the percentage of the trading fee from what you have supplied from the commission reporting:

Commission excluding trading fee: $325 * 27% (commission %) = $87.75
Commission including trading fee: $325 - $48.75 = $276.25 * 27% = $74.59
Difference in commission earned = $87.75 - $74.59 = $13.16

Actual percentage of commission lost due to trading fee = 4,05%

Unfortunately the US climate we are currently in makes for more costly trading.
The high processing costs has made the trading fee necessary, however it must be noted we as the trader do absorb the majority of the costs.
We understand affiliates are a vital part of our business and is in no way our intention to ‘put a squeeze on affiliates’. We don’t like the extra costs either.
As partners in trade, affiliate and casino operator, we share the wins and losses and in this current US climate affiliates will need to partially share the cost in order for trade to continue to allow both parties to continue making a healthy profit.

With all this said it is a great opportunity for affiliates to continue earning on their existing US players and The Casino US’ has put in place a very powerful and experienced retention team equipped with top VIP managers focused purely on retaining, converting and reacquiring players ultimately adding great value to all of us!
Regards,
Rachel
