Betting calculator - how to make money from it?
Hello,
My latest project is betting calculator. I am professional gambler and always wanted to make something like that because i use it every day. How do you think I can monetize that site? What traffic should I make to get some sponsor like Bet365? Do you think if I have some banners near the calculator the people will click on them?
Thanks

If you go and search 'betting odds calculator' and look at the top 10, you'll see how they're doing it (that should give some sort of answer to your questions 1 and 3). At the top, there are some big names that will know what they're doing, so it would be reasonably safe to assume that they're doing whatever works best for them.
Of course, you can't actually tell if they're getting clicks...but going by the traffic volumes to the top result, it would be surprising if they're not making something out of it.
If you could find anyone paying for ads on any of the 'odds calculator' terms - and that were consistently showing - that would be a good indicator. But I couldn't see any ads anywhere.
If you want 365 specifically, I think you'll need to prove traffic volumes. It would be a real guess - and probably only the 365 affiliate managers would be able to confirm or comment accurately - but my guess is you'd need to be in the thousands per month (I could be underguessing or overguessing)...and it probably will also depend on where that traffic is coming from.

It is one of those where people coming to use the tool have a bet in mind they want to place and already have an account lined up to do that. Not saying you can't get conversions from it but like tips traffic it could be more difficult.
If you can do good traffic volume a media buy might be more suitable? 365 definitely do those if you have the metrics.

I assume that 99% of the visitors will already have registration at some bookie but I hope that if I make decent traffic the big brands will want to advertise just for brand awareness.
