A Picture Says a Thousand Words

With the popular saying of "A Picture Says a Thousand Words", where do you actually get them from what are are unique?

In fact, it would be cool to have cartoon like images for articles and stuff. Does anyone do any or know of anyone?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Craig, you can always list a job on sites like scriptlance and get a graphic designer to put one together for you. Check out my Fambon site, the robot character only cost $30 from memory. Let me know if you would like their contact details.

Cheers

I usually use the 'SXC dot HU'(type the dot for yourself), which offers a very big database of images free to use. Claims to have over 350,000 images free to use, so I am guessing you will find everything that you need.

Thanks for the SXC link. I hadn't come across that one before but it looks good.

You are welcome. A guy that's into Blog Templates gave it to me some years ago. Supposedly you will never run into copyright problems with those images

I've been using from SXC as well. They're great and such a time saver from having to google and you can store your favourite images in your account for later use etc. Sometimes you'd be required to link back to the source which i am more than happy with given how easy they've made my life.

I strongly recommend SXC
