Hello,

What is your opinion on the BetVictor sports betting affiliate program.

I am going through the T&Cs and there are a couple of things that jump out.


Per Clause 2.2 (iii) affilates must post at least one social media post per week on the subject of safe gambling.
Per Clause 2.6 (iii) affiliates can't market their websites using email or SMS.
Per Clause 3.1 they deduct 'processing fees' before calculating how much to pay the affiliate. They don't give any information on what these fees are or how they are calculated.
Per Clause 4 (ii) they 'reserve the right' to close your account if in a given month you don't refer at least 3 depositing customers.

If you aren't already promoting them then my advice is don't. They have a reputation for closing fairly inactive affiliate accounts. A lot of existing affiliates have lost their players. BetVictor's way of operating makes it very hard for any new affiliate to get up and running and to avoid problems with them. Unless you can send a constant stream of sign-ups from day one then you will end up regretting promoting them.

Stole all my players a long time ago, I'm guessing around the same time that Sky stole everyones players. They had suspended my account before this. they used to go through my websites to find one minor detail to suspend / finally disable my account. I would not waste my time with these parasites.

Edit: just remember why they closed my account. Because they dug through one of my sites and found a sentence refering to them as Victor Chandler after their rebrand.

Never cared for the tone of their affiliate manager either. Had some huge ego as though he was your boss and you were merely filth to him. I bet he's proper balling in his office job for just over the minimum wage.

My AM's have always been personable and not had any issues with BV myself. The account values are good as is retention.

I echo what has been said above though, don't join them until you can send a steady stream, they are not so good for new affiliates with little or volatile traffic.

I would agree with tufty here.
Their T&C are strange a bit. And reputation is not really good.
And probably you can't guarantee at least 3 depositing customers during such short time.

I am quite hesitant to use BetVictor as my model is not to promote many bookmakers and to direct traffic to them on a regular basis to keep customer retention high so I need to only focus on quality sportsbooks with good affiliate programs that don't drop their affiliates at the first opportunity.

Bet365 hits this target and I'm looking for one or two more that are suitable for the UK and Ireland sports betting market.

If you were to recommend one bookmaker other than bet365 what would it be?

All my acquaintances give exceptionally bad reviews about BetVictor. That's why I don't advise you to do business with them.
