Haha, yes indeed. We tend to stick to online gaming since it more politically correct. Online Gambling seems to have a negative connotation attached to it. Go figure

Well at least here in the UK if you say 'gaming' or 'online gaming' to people (without context) they assume you mean video or computer gaming, and to be honest they would be right. But I think gambling has less of a negative connotation here that some other places perhaps (we have a betting shop on every high street at least!).

But with some context gaming is fine.

The biggest word to gain traffic is "no deposit bonus" it is the most searched in online gambling for sure. Maybe online poker too.

IF you are talking to likely users then online gambling (or online betting, online casino, online poker online bingo for segments) seems more accurate and does not carry stigma.

I've seen a lot of affiliate websites talk about online gaming - but as RayUK says above - the general public think of that as networked computer games like World Of Warcraft and the such.

Thanks for the feedback, seems there are quite differing views however I do tend to agree with the term online gaming meaning Warcraft.

Just looking for the tagline for my site Fambon- Deal site exclusively for online _ _ _

    suggestions would be appreciated

    cheers

Since your Fambon site features a good deal of sports I think "Online Betting" would be appropriate. My 2 cents
