Affiliate Programs Minimum Active Players List

I see many affiliate programs change their terms or just starts closing affiliate account for not bringing new players and steal their profit when they advertise lifetime commission.

That's why I'd like this topic to become sticky and somebody from GPWA to make a list of all affiliate programs and what's their REAL minimum active or new players minimum for them NOT to close your affiliate account and steal your "lifetime" commissions.

I see some programs even making absurd demands like 10 active players in previous week to qualify to withdraw your commission.

OK, I'll add first few examples of affiliate programs and their minimum player requirement and then rest of you can add your info.

BetCris - requires 10 active players in previous week to qualify to withdraw your commission,
5Dimes - requires 5 active players in previous week to qualify to withdraw your commission,
SBObet, 188bet, Bet365, 138 they all require 5 active players in previous month to qualify to withdraw your commission.

Add your info for other sportsbooks and how many active players they want for you to get commission OR how many new players so they don't close your affiliate account.

I think you got the bet365 one wrong . Their terms state that "Your bet365affiliate account must have a minimum of 5 active referred Customers before you will be eligible for Referral Commission payment." and a "All bet365 affiliates are required to refer a minimum of 5 active Customers within a three month period of joining the program. Should an affiliate not reach this requirement the affiliate account may be closed, but you will have the option to open a new affiliate account"

So you need 5 active players within 3 months of joining ( which I think can be extended)before you can make a withdrawal - not last month. Also i have been told in the past that its not likely to close your account of you dont reach the 5 players on that period.

yep bet365 is just 5 active customers before you can make a withdrawl, which is fair enough IMO as they are completely upfront about it.

I think this is wrong - where did you get this thing about the previous week from?

* All Affiliates are required to refer a minimum of 5 active customers before requesting the first payout. I can't find any reference to this in terms for 138.
After reading the terms of 188bet and SBObet you would need to be mad to promote them.
BetCris / Bookmaker.eu is a despicable company with a history of ripping off affiliates (I speak from experience). They are thieves. You are correct about their terms (which were added retrospectively) and any new affiliates must avoid this company like the plague. How long would it take a new affiliate to get paid by them anyway?

Is not easy, when your website is performing good lots of visitors everyone likes you. But if your sites traffic dropped you get emails like this one (Please note that in order for us to keep your account active, until the end of the month we need to see an improvement of your traffic.) so I told them please do what you have to do I’ll do whatever I have to do too!
They seem to forget they are in business because of us Affiliates and sometimes are sites PR drops and it takes time to improve your traffic again, SO wright when you need help this is when they drop you THANKS Affiliate programs!!!!!!!

WBX don't have any minimum requirements to stay on the program or to be eligible for payment.
Plus if for whatever reason you choose to no longer work with us we will continue to pay you for any revenue generated by your past referrals.

Good others are sharing their info and experience who to promote and who to avoid.

For me every bookie that writes to lower your commission to 5% or close your account if not sending them at least 1 new active player each month or in 3 months is not worth promoting.

If 1 player lose $10,000 a month but then they close your account cause you didn't bring 1 new player that maybe bets $10 per bet 1x/week then this clearly says to affiliates that they don't want to share profits with affiliates and are not worth promoting.

Is there a sportsbook that actually is honest and don't care if you send them only 1 player that keeps losing money and is willing to share such profit with affiliates?

Isn't whole point of revenue share that it only matters how much profits is being made - not if you bring 1 or 100 new players?

Yeah it's just 5 total before making a withdrawal - probably to stop aff fraud. And when I first signed up it took me longer than 3 months to do this - they didn't care (was a fair few years ago though).

188Bet are a bit weird in that they have two programs - one asian one with really horrible terms, and a european one with much better ones (without the mad quota).

Are there any sportsbook affiliate programs that are OK if you in first 3 months just get 1 or 2 players that are losing money (making profit to sportsbook) and they pay commission and not delay until you get 5 new players?

Start is already tough for an affiliate then on top of that being "motivated" to not get earned commission just cause you don't get 5 players is not my way of wanting to work even harder for free and possibility they close your account and steal players that made money 3 months already.

I believe there is a reason why sportsbooks have that rule and it has to do with friends playing under each others accounts and spreading risk over a few bookies and making a profit. I'm sure a sportsbook aff mgr could come in and explain it better than me.

As a side note, Rewards Affiliates does not have any minimum player quotas.

Renee is spot on. It's become more prevalent lately for affiliates to sign up one player who has one big bet per month (usually towards the end) on a market which can be closely matched on Betfair. The customer then "lays off" the bet and reaps the rewards of his "friends" affiliate commission.

We at Sky Bet have a very astute trading analytics team who are well aware of this behaviour and so this enables us to not implement a minimum player rule.

If my traffic really went rubbish and I was really bothered about keeping a relationship going then I'd just do some PPC stuff and make sure that I got some guaranteed signups to keep things ticking over while I got my traffic back.

The PPC method is NOT available to US Residents and therefore is NOT a valid excuse/reason/method for small us-based affiliates.

Any quotas that make affiliate programs "less attractive" to small affiliates, make the programs "less attractive" overall in my opinion.
