Once Again New Zealand Hit By Earthquakes

Oh boy!

Once again New Zealand has been shaken with two earthquakes one at 5.6 and the other at 6.3 "Same size as Feb's one" in Christchurch New Zealand. More Damage, More buildings down and loss of power.

When is this going to stop. We have had around 100 smaller earthquakes since yesterday as well.

Sorry to hear that Jamie. Has there been an estimation of the human casualties, dead, missing, etc? Has helped been deployed to help those affected?

This time round it struck just after 2pm, only 1 death and approx 50 injured. Way better than Feb's one in which 180 people died. However Christchurch is in a bad way. Alot are now considering leaving Christchurch for good.

That is 3 major earthquakes in 6 months. first was 7.3 second 6.3 and third 6.3

This is not counting the hundreds of small aftershocks either. ranging from 2.9 to 5.5

My thoughts go out to all affected by the different catastrophes happening around the globe. Seems to be more than normal.

Yep and there have been reports of more to come. Can't figure what the heck is going on with our country, and around the world. I heard last week we can expect large after shocks for upto 3 years. I reckon its building up to 2012, but that is just my opinion.
