Does that site have a site map? If so, has that page been added?

If you have other sites that have a page or post with similar content, create a link to the page from there.

If you have no other site, try to get an incoming link from a quality site from a page with similar content, or at least in a post that would make sense to link to your requested page.

Also don't overlook the possibility that it has a code error on it. Check the html validation on that page to make sure an open tag or something is keeping the bots from parsing the page correctly.

Building a site is only one tiny step in building a successful online business.

Now you have to work on (1) traffic generation (e.g. SEO, media buying, video marketing etc) and (2) converting the traffic that comes to your site into buyers/clickers/subscribers/optins.

Simply putting up a site and then doing nothing cannot succeed. The axiom, 'build it and they will come' could not be more wrong online.

    Time to hustle noblewriter!

But in the current Penguin environment, make sure that you vary your Anchor Text a lot and have no more than 20% with your target keywords.

Also have plenty of 'click here' type links and naked URLs e.g. domain.com as Anchors too.

Good luck. I've just started my own site too (about Virtual Horse Racing, surprisingly enough). All the above advice is very good. On top of that, keep generating new content on your site. Have you done things like create a Twitter account for the site? You can add your site URL to your profile. Same with Squidoo I believe and a few similar. I'm no SEO expert, but I believe these alone can help with SEO. Also, Twitter/Facebook can help attract readers.

YouTube videos are also much easier to rank than websites in difficult niches and can help drive traffic to your site - make them good though!
