I realise that domain name no longer plays a big part in website's potential success, but just wanted to ask whether you like the particular domain I have chosen for a future project. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Yes, that is exactly what I had in mind since I know that 'bloke' is used in Australia and the UK, and even Ireland, South Africa and New Zealand apparently.

1. Nothing could be further from the truth, and the best are still selling like the extremely valuable assets and means to competitive advantage and HUGE marketing time, effort and money cost savings that they are and have always been, and are likely to be till after we are all dead, since DNS is probably not going anywhere any time soon. Hasn't anyone ever wondered why this whole affiliate industry exists and why the operators need us so much, by the way? While I'm certainly not saying it's the only reason, one thing I have noticed over the years is that they tend to choose the most ridiculous, junky domains, in some cases near worthless. If they were willing to spend what it takes to gain the competitive advantage of a good one, however, they wouldn't need affiliates nearly as much.

Your domain is your brand, the foundation on which you operate. See the various article links I've posted before.

2. The above said, in my opinion that is a really excellent and fantastic domain you were able to obtain. Well done. And I say that as someone from across the pond where we don't even use the word "bloke" but it is certainly well familiar. That is an example of an excellent "brandable" imo which is also a "quasi-EMD." Nice going.

Looks good. Not a massive fan of the super hero charactor - the design of him is nice but 'bloke' to me would be better suited towards more of an 'average joe' type figure.

You have a point about the logo. We didn't plan to have him as a superhero character, but that was the best the graphic designer I hired was able to do. We'll have to revise it to look more like an average joe. If you can recommend someone who can create a good logo, that would be great.
