Yeah, user internet speed will always have effect on actual numbers. For me it's quite a big one since I have a lot of visitors from Nigeria and most of them don't have good fast connections.

Btw, thanks for this post. I hadn't checked my page speed in a while, and when I analyzed the website performance on mobile, I came across a little surprise (which I am now fixing).
Edit: Well, I just discovered that I can't attach images, but I got an embarrassing First Contentful Paint of 3.2s...
