Will You Test my Site Speed?

For my one casino site I use wordpress and it seems a little slow to me. I use Microsoft Web Expression for other sites and they seem so much faster.

I have installed Quick Cache on the site to try to speed it up. If anyone has a few minutes could you take a look and let me know what you think about the speed. If you could just test a few pages and let me know I would appreciate it.

If you feel it is slow and you have any recommendations on how to speed it up please share. The site is www.usalegalcasinos.com

I checked it from 2 locations.

1. RUSSIA - All OK. Loaded very fast.
2. GERMANY (PROXY-SEREVER) - All OK. Loaded very fast.

It was slowish just for the initial response - perhaps 3-4 seconds - I'd never visited it before.
Then it seemed to render the whole page quickly in another couple of seconds.

Overall - seems fine to me.

Same thing I experienced from Cyprus

All of the images, css and javascript loads quickly.

The part slowing everything down is the initial call to download the HTML which is taking 4 seconds (from the UK).

I'm not familiar with wordpress but if the pages are static there maybe be some plugin to cache the result.

It is a little bit on the slow side, but nothing drastic - maybe a second or two delay before loading.

You can speed up your site up to 500% changing the png images on reviews. Use jpg for large images.

Beside that, and I only make a quick look, didn't find any other issue.

Yeah same here (Gibraltar) if not about 5-8 sec but once it actually loaded navigation was quick so it just seems to be in initial load

Go one better and sprite them.

You could also look at minifying your css.

Hey thanks everyone for your feedback. I am unfamiliar with "spriting" the pages but I will look into that. You guys all seemed to have the same experience. I guess if I could get the inital load time down I would be all set. I was concered that all the pages were loading slowly but it doesnt seem that is the case.

Its working fine. In the beginning it took time to load pages but once that is done, the navigation goes real smooth.
