Default It is taking longer and longer to receive payments

Is it just me or is anyone else finding that many casinos are taking longer and longer to make payments each month?
I am not going to point out any specific casinos but suffice to say that I am now finding that many casinos are not adhering to the payment dates laid out in their terms and conditions.
What makes me even more cross is the favouritism ( for want of a better word ) that seems to be showed, as I often see under the payments section of GPWA that some people get paid on a specific date by a specific method, so it would be logical to assume that because you have the same payment method you should also be paid, but this is not the case. I sometimes wait up to a week longer after I see other affiliates have been paid.
Quite frankly I am getting to the point that those that pay according to their terms and conditions will get the top positions and the others will be moved down.

agreed! its getting really dumb now. 50% pay late or sometimes forget to pay in the month. With so many programs to chase its more of a headache each month to try and collect. I treat all payments the same - whether it be $50 or $5000 - i just want them paid on time!

    I agree,

The days of the 2 or 3 fastest paying groups in competition to see who could pay first every month just doesn't happen anymore....

    Attention Affiliate Programs:

How would YOU like to be recommended by ALL of us as the fastest paying program every month???

Any single one of you could EARN that title.....

    I CHALLENGE you to try!

Well to be honest not sure if you are up for the challenge, but by all means give it a shot....

Back in the day, there used to one group (an RTG) that would always pay first thing in the morning on the 1st of the month.....then suddenly another group (a Rival) started paying early on the first.....

The RTG that used to command the spot and started winding up 2nd didn't like that and they started running their payments during the first few hours of the 1st and got the #1 spot back.....

Then for quite a while I remember a time frame where each of these groups were the first 2 to pay every single month for many many months in a row....

Talk about brand awarenes....I have NEVER forgotten that or the brands.

I can remember one time off the top of my head where we have not sent our payments by the 7th (which is in our T&Cs), but they were sent on the 8th and it was due to easter public holidays all falling in the first 4-5 days of the month. The last couple of months I have even come into the office on a Sunday to have them ready to be paid on a monday if the days are not falling so that we will have them out in time.

Generally we pay around the 3rd or 4th, depending on what day the 1st falls on.

As Gemma said, we are not all bad.

No, you are not all bad. Thank you for that. It's appreciated more than you know.

To tell it like it is and what really baffles me and really pisses me off is not getting paid and no word. We think that a payment is coming and days turn into weeks, months. So then we have to get all ninja and kick up some mails and forum posts. I think most of us would understand with a quick mail to say Sorry for the Delay. Instead we are left wondering if we're getting paid at all. To skip a month and no mail to tell us is the sign of a poor AM.

Why do some AM's do that to us?

Renee, As you said - you are not all bad and I totally agree. There is some of you who are very quick with payments - eg yourselves, Class 1 Casino, Aff Europe, Affiliates United, Aff Active, Aff Club and Inter Partners are ones that come to mind who still pay on a reasonable date......Its the others that don't pay as per their terms and conditions that get me peeved off....
Mojo, I agree with you about getting no word...if there is a delay then tell us!

Unfortunately it is not so easy for me to simply remove them and then put them back as I have over 150 websites so it would be a lot of wasted time.

We have same issue as you Heather , have to be serious offenders for us to find time to remove casinos from all our sites. We can instantly redirect the links on the backend and the banners but having to change out thousands of blocks of text from Casino A to Casino B probably cost us $3000+ in wages.

It seems operators want to keep as big a cash balance as possible. Maybe just in case they have any type of problems as seen in the past. So sadly affiliates will be the ones getting the cut first, but what's new?
