Question Do you currently own stock in a publicly traded gaming company?

Earlier today I saw an article about a gaming affiliate company offering additional stock for sale:

SharpLink Gaming Announces Pricing of $4.5 Million Public Offering Priced At-The-Market Under Nasdaq Rules

So I decided to post a question this week about whether you own any gaming stocks.

In addition to voting in the poll, I invite you to share your thoughts about investing in gaming stocks, and any gaming stocks you currently hold or have held in the past. And also what you think of various industry segments such as affiliate, online operators, land-based operators and industry suppliers.

I don't have huge exposure but I did buy shares in a few online gambling and gaming companies just as covid hit expecting prices to increase as people were forced to stay home. It worked out well but it was more of a one-off taking advantage of that situation

I prefer to allow my financial adviser to invest in various portfolios rather investing personally into the stock market.

Of course, unfortunately they have performed quite bad. Maybe nowadays better to have smaller exposure, as affiliate business and listed companies might correlate to some extent.

Many years ago I had Boyd Gaming Stocks , it was around 2010 -2014 and did ok . I actually seen the recommendation on a Canadian Investment Forum and decided to put a small amount in it.

Sometimes, I do find myself interested in the stock of publicly traded gaming companies. While I don't actively own any at the moment, I find the industry fascinating, especially with the growth of online gaming and the integration of new technologies like blockchain and cryptocurrencies. It's definitely something I keep an eye on from time to time.
