Affiliate company's such has Reef Media make my blood boil. I had a CPA with them for Boylesports a couple of years back. Between them and the bookmaker they reneged without letting me know --- that was the end of that relationship!
Despite hitting ''unsubscribe'', i still receive promotional stuff from them which i just bin. And, today this (see below):
Read the mail below, doesn't it clearly state ''As a result of copyright infringement issues Bet365 have frozen all of your accounts from Thursday 8th December until Monday 12th December'' ?
Of course it does!
When i wrote them and told them i don't have bet365 through Reef media their answer : ''it was a general e-mail and clearly marked has such''
It's clearly not true, and it was enough for me to check my bet365 account!
Is this just bad organisation on their behalf?
Am i reading the mail wrong?
Are they just trying it on?
And, what about the folk who work Bet365 through Reef Media?
They clearly write : ''bet365'' have suspended ''your accounts'' for the period mentioned. How could they do that, it would be irresponsible to group all affiliates together - Guilty by association!!
For me these people just shoot themselves in the foot every time they send a mail - They are literally saying all bet365 (an other) accounts can be stopped at any time.
What an irresponsible company!

Hello,
You are receiving this email as you currently have a Bet365 Deal assigned to your account.
As a result of copyright infringement issues Bet365 have frozen all of your accounts from Thursday 8th December until Monday 12th December.
During this period no revenues will be paid.
We will work with them to get revenues reinstated as soon as possible, it is up to you whether you choose to pause traffic during this time (FTDS gained during this period will continue to generate RevShare once the suspension is lifted on the 12th).
We urge you to control the traffic you send and where it is directed. If you are unable to do this Bet365 can no longer be a deal you run through us.
This is their terms re forbidden traffic:
5.3 Unsuitable Sites
We may terminate this Agreement if we determine (in our sole discretion) that your site is unsuitable. Unsuitable sites include, but are not limited to, those that: are aimed at children, display pornography or other illegal sexual acts, promote violence, promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age, promote illegal activities or violate intellectual property rights or breach any relevant advertising regulations or codes of practice.
Any breaches of those terms – by any of our accounts – will result in further suspensions. You need to be 100% sure of where every click comes from – no more torrents or streaming sites.
In addition to the action taken against us from the merchant, your working relationship with Reefmedia will also be at risk if these rules are broken.
Thank you for your co-operation.
Regards,

MOI
I have no idea what you are talking about!!
1. We don't work with bet365 through you
2. We don't have any copyright infringement.
3.We don't have any contract with your company.
4. Bet365 would contact us direct if they had anything to say.
This is just pure and utter nonsense!

As mentioned at the top of the email – you received the email as you had BET365 assigned to your account. It was a mass email – to all affiliates and not aimed or directed at anyone in particular. As you do not promote the via us then you can simply ignore the email.
