How to place backlinks on other sites I own

Hi again

I have a sportsbook aff site and a couple of other sports-related sites, blogs and small e-magazines.

I'm baffled about how should I place backlinks on other sites, SEO-wise. Should I have a link on main menu and footer menu, because even that is possible – or is it too much? Should I spam the link on every suitable pages or some selected pages? Should I make some of them nonfollow and link to some less relevant pages of my main site or every time to the homepage?

just one good natrual looking link on a good page.. anything over than that will most likely be demoted over time anyhow
