Banners/tracking impressions

I don't recall who my contact is here, but I would like to speak to someone. I had a 468 banner up for many months now, showing 3000+ impressions on my end, and I just checked stats for the first time in months and saw 47 impressions for the whole year. I was going to try a different banner to see if the one I had showing wasn't tracking properly but the code wasn't working (I actually tried several) I just gave up and deleted it from my banner rotator.
But it would be nice to know why there's a huge difference in impressions.
