Very good Uk betting Site for Sale (Sold)

This site is one that came back into our ownership recently. To give some background I sold it in 2014 after running it for several Years. It was a very, very good money making site with plenty of sign ups and real depositing customers.

At the time it was making me between £2000 to £9000 per Month every Month from the signups it had occurred over the Years. The exact number of new players per Month i cannot remember, but it did get them each and every single day.

It was sold for a substantial amount of money and had unique/returning visitors in the many tens of thousands each Month.

The guy it was sold to did absolutely nothing with it and left it to gather dust. I assume he made his money back and jet setted around the World In truth I have no idea what happened but the site had a database error from around 8 Months, lost its links and rankings. The domain dropped and i caught it.

I have redone the site to make it a little more modern and am looking to sell it again. I am in two minds but as I have 1 very, very large project to focus on I don't need the distraction of this to be honest.

The site isn't ranking well with google yet but still gets 1200 uniques a Month which I assume are from people who have bookmarked the site in the past. Add to this yahoo and bing where it does rank and it's off to a good start.

I have just added affiliate links to the review pages, not all of them either as I was more concentrating on getting it up and running for now.

I'm looking for serious offer on this. I have the .co.uk the .com, .org.uk, .net and .uk so you get the full list.

The site in question is https://www.lucky15calculator.co.uk which as the title suggest is a calculator to work out win and each way lucky 15 bets. One of the most popular UK bets placed in the UK.

Getting signups is an easy sell as only 2 bookmakers offer the biggest bonus for this bet type, and not betting there is foolish.

There is a also an app we developed for the app store which will come with it. This has over 8000 users and you can send ads direct to mobile. It's not currently available in the app store but we have all the stats for interested buyers.

I'm looking for mid to high £x,xxx for this as although it's a project it has a great track record and will make someone a lot of money with a little seo and link building.

Attached are some of the stats from when we were making the app. Also some earnings that were from the site and app.

The "advance" on the earnings was for advertising on the app itself which I may consider doing again instead of selling the site and app.

The stats are for lucky15calculator.co.uk I have some for the .com also for a much for a longer period. These are just screenshots found on my computer from back then. I'm sure I'll have a lot more details.

Again to be clear this was a very, very good money making site and will be again for anyone who has just a little time to build links and do some solid seo.

I need at add however this will be for sale for a very short time. Should it not be sold this week and despite having enough to do we will keep it and work it on further to get it back to where it was.

This really is worth a lot more than the asking price imo but i am not really motivated by money anymore, so the right person can get a perfect niche site and build a good income.

Seems like this was a great project but it ain't ranking well now as you mentioned in your description. The URL is no premium and the site on it is small, links are of very low quality - all together not worth much in my opinion, maybe mid $XXX. Does it deliver any FTD's at the moment?
This is a typical problem of a low quality URL's, if this would be on a good EMD domain, I would buy it.

The problem with low quality URL's/Domains is: as soon as they stop bombing the web with ads or fooling Google with good link building they're history. So it's a much better bet to go for EMD domains.

Anyhow, good luck selling it for your desired price.

Thanks for the comments although negative you seem to have missed the bigger picture. The url I would say is obviously perfect and the fact there is an app with the site with so many users you can target easily with ads makes it something out of the norm.

lucky15calculator isn't a serious EMD domain in my opinion, check it out on estibot - it doesn't give it any value at all even if you evaluate the .com or any other extension ,you made a good catch if you purchased it on a expired domain auction. The big question is if it delivers any FTD's at the moment? You haven't answered this question yet and that's what's important at its current condition.

Regarding the APP, do you have a demo of the APP and info where the 1k+ users came from incl. signup dates?

Thanks again for your opinions, they are really useful.

Firstly this not serious EMD gets more searches in the UK than "slots" "betting sites" and many other huge money terms.

The app has over 8000 users not 1000+. yes i have the stats from the app store!

As for FTD's like i said i have only added 1 affiliate link which was yesterday or day before, try them they take you nowhere. It's not it's own separate tracker so i could say yes 36 signups Yesterday but I have no idea of knowing (except i know if any it would be 1 or 2) and as stated i don't have time for this hence the sale.

This obviously isn't for you though, I'm sure others will see it differently as they already have by PM as asked in the original post.

Why not add separate tracking (takes 2 minutes), wait 1 month and sell for your desired price or even more, given it does NDCs?

Surely time well spent and would have to avoid all the drama that is about to unfold here. Hell, you could even pay someone in Fiverr $50 to do all the work lol.

In see the site was relaunched just recently and as such it still does not rank for anything at all. So I doubt there are are any depositors at this point at all.

Which is fine, I guess, the potential is in the domain and not current traffic and depositors which I assume are none.

Returning traffic are just the people who already have accounts at the betting sites and they just come to use the calculator.

The domain could have value, but this brings up a few points:

1. Given your revenue estimate, you're giving away the site for only potential 1-2 months revenue? Seems weird.
2. Weird someone (the previous owner) would just abandon and drop a site making up to $10k a month.
3. I have checked up the keyword and related keyword and have found another site exactly like this (calculator for lucky 15) who was also ranking page 1 for these keywords where the hosting just expired/site abandoned.
So, there is a second supposed $10k per month site in this niche that was abandoned/left to expire. Seems too much to be a coincidence.

Not doubting anything yo say personally, don't get me the wrong way. I'm just pointing out some things about the larger context as a whole.
