LOL I bet this question is asked over and over again...but this morning I was having a decent conversation with one of my neighbors who kept going on and on and on about how her husband did not listen to her and ended up proving her right!

She then said ' MUST I ALWAYS BE RIGHT' which got me thinking as to why men are so reluctant to take our advice at times.

This is going to be good! let the games begin.

Men are generally very efficient creatures. If we have to listen to a women nag on for more than a few minutes then we just switch off.

My wife doesn't read this forum, so no women aren't always right :P
But I think she has a built in tracking device in her brain that lets her know where every item in the house is kept.
Stuff that she hasn't seen for months or even years she'll know straight away where it is. I have trouble remembering where my phone/wallet is that I put down 5 mins earlier

Ah yes the beauty of selective hearing. I think this kicks in quite earlier on to be honest for men.

I am going to be honest here, men come up with some pretty good ideas and most of the time, with good intention. The problem is that to get that idea in motion requires a good amount of planning!! This is the part you tend to leave out.

Example:

Husband; Honey, would you like to go to dinner with me this evening?
Me; What a lovely thought/idea what did you have in mind darling?
Husband; we come home from work, get ready and go for dinner, I will book a nice restaurant and we can spend some quality time together?
Me; Ok but what about our 2 yrs old?
Husband; Oh yeah right...sorry forget about the whole thing!

He almost had me there for a second....LOL This is a classic.
