an excellent piece of research regarding adware
This is a very impressive piece of research, definition of adware, compilation of legal cases and more.
http://cyber.law.harvard.edu/people/edelman/ads/#suits
and here you can type in the name of a site and see if Gator targets it with popups and popunders:
http://asp-cyber.law.harvard.edu/gat...test.asp?host=
Remember: Gator most likely is not targeting your site in this way anymore.
Gator sits and waits now, let's you buy your expensive payperclick visitor, (and abducts many payperclick players before they get to your site with fake search results).
Should your visitor bypass this abduction, Gator lets him spend time looking over all the information you have compiled, lets him decide on which casino would best fit his taste.
When your paid for and now educated visitor clicks on the casino of his choice, Gator jumps up and steals him, your comission, your payperclick money and your intellectual property, all the work you put into your site.
This theft will not show in the tool above, Gator categorizes this as targeting the casino, not the affiliate.
Yet it is your money as well as that of the casino that is stolen here!
