Default Aid and Support for Member Tony

    To all Santa's GPWA Elves,

We have all seen our efforts to get our friend and member Tony some love and help right now. As many of you know, his wife Georga is in very poor health and Tony has been at her side at the hospital every moment. For some background, here are some threads:

    Tonys Charity Event Poker Game

    Our Member Tony

I have heard from Tony in the last couple of days. He at the hospital 24/7 and feeling quite alone. Him and his wife have no support system besides the professionals at the Hospital. In other words, Tony needs our friendship.

I am not sure of the hospital but if anyone knows and is in the area and can stop by, Tony is sure in need of a friend. I will write him now to find an address. For those of us unable to visit, cards of strength and support are welcome.

I have found out as well that indeed his website is slipping, he cannot access it in the hosp, and he is in need of financial help. His paypal is- admin [at] luckytonys [dot] [com]. Donations are gratefully accepted at this time. Tony has put everything aside to be near his wife at this time. This is a hard thing for Tony to ask but as we all know, at times like these, we cannot let pride get in the way.

The north pole is busy this year and Santa needs help from our GPWA Elves.

    Thank you and Blessings.

Thanks Mojo, wonderful post and painfully true.

I have been in talks with Marc from Titan Poker. This man called me on his own to ask how he could help with Tony and his wife. Just the fact that he is the only Affiliate Manager to take the first step and call one of us to ask how they can help says alot about the man and their program. I don't even promote Titan Poker but will now.

Anyway, he is setting up a poker tournament with thier site and will let me know all the details once they are finalized and he will help with the promoting by sending requests to thier "biggest" affilates and asking to display the links to the tournament and signup page.

Thank you for showing Tony's paypal account, i will be sending him some needed cash as soon as i get some money in this month.

YOu are so correct about the time he is spending in the hospital, and they didn't even give him his own bed in his wifes room? he has been sleeping in a chair or out in the lounge? how ridiculous is that? He does everything for her because she is in so much pain she bear to move to much, but the doctors are insisting that she has to start to try to stand up and walk, but it just re opens the surgical areas and causes to much pain. Its just heart breaking.

I didn't know Tony until his post over at GAP caught my attention because he was thanking us for chatting with him because he had NO family or support system and was all alone and our freindship meant alot to him.

How can we not help this man? I plead all the wonderful people here to do as MOJO asked, send a card, stop by and say hi if your from his area, give him a call and let him know he is not alone, even a email of support means the world to him right now.

I will update to any tournaments that are being set up and hopefully i and others can market them enough to draw some attention to this cause and get some players.

Tony, we ARE here for you and you do have family and friends that care.
Stay strong, and I hope we can make a difference for you and Georgia.

    Love
    Pat

    Hey there,

I have communicated with Tony a few times on Pms.... I know he does not get anytime to come here and check things out...

I want to go to the hospital, and i know exactly where it is.

Do you have a last name? It would be hard for me to go there not knowing what room, the last name as the hospital she is in is huge.

I had Tonys number and i am looking for it, but in case i cant find it does anyone know the room number of the hospital or last name so i can at least call and get details....

I want to do this by Monday if possible during the afternoon, and take Tony out for lunch in the hospital or least a coffee and talk.

I feel so bad for the man i just want to cry!!!

I think it would be so good for him to have a representative from here (me) letting him know how much we all care for him and want to help him, plus i will be able to report his spirits and how he feels...

I am 15 mins from where he is too!! Its the least i can do right now...

Please pm me any other details to help me know how to get down there and see him in case i cant call him...

BY the way: Marc from Titan Giggles - That man is such an awesome guy. I talked to him on the phone one time for like 2 hours.. I could tell he is a sensitive honest man!!

Europartners is lucky to have him and he is one of the best AMs, (VPs) i have ever talked to - he cares, he listens, and understands!!!

You can count on him to be supportive all the time. I have a titan account both players and affilaite so if you need help let me know...

Anyways please let me know the infos above i will go see him and report back to everyone ok?

    Steve

Mojo, Giggles and Steve - You are really special people, and it is people like you that keep me coming back to the GPWA time and time again.
My heart goes out to Tony and whilst I can't pay him a visit from a travelling point of view - I can do the next best thing I know, and that is to ask my dear friend Steve if I can pop some money into his paypal account, so he can buy a hamper of goodies to take to Tony and his wife when he goes to see them. If not then maybe I can pop some money into Tony's paypal account.
What do you guys think would be best?

    You are all wonderful elves!

The people here at the GPWA is what makes it so special. No matter what we send, it all comes from the heart and that cannot be replaced.

Steve, I have not heard back from Tony on the address. His wife's name is Georga but not sure that will help. I'm on it but waiting on Tony. Hey - maybe I can do a whois. I'll check. I would like to send a Chrismas bouquet or something too.

I am so glad to hear you are so close! Most of us are to far away and nothing in the world could compare to the personal comfort you are offering. I am close to tears here. You have a heart of gold Steve.

I'll see what more I can find out..

Thank you guys very much for what you are doing now. You are really very special!
I don't know Tony personally, but I know you, and I trust you and if you say that he needs our help and support, then it's true and I'm ready to help. I was very busy in November and didn't read GPWA carefully, and missed this event. But I'll try to do my best that to help him.

I don't have my own Paypal, it does not work in my country, but I will have payments from my partners next week, and I'll ask one of them to send one of my payment to his Paypal account.

Hey everyone. I just got back from the hospital. I got the pm from Mojo and luckily i searched and searched and found Tony's cell number.

As i headed out the door I got him a card, a get well card for Tony and his wife and I addressed it from everyone here. I know everyone cares and wants to help Tony... and let me tell you straight up

"He Needs Help" - I mean serious help!

When i got there i met Tony!! Such a wonderful looking man who obviously looked very tired and worried. He has lost weight and is very tired.

He basically lives out of his car and in the patient lobby. Everything in the hospital is cold looking. As you know how hospitals can be.

As you know his wife is very ill - i can verify this with certainty. Luckily she was asleep when i got there, and she slept for the 2 hours i was there.

I spent the whole time finding out about Tony and his lovely wife and we talked about affiliate stuff and all kinds of things.

Tony is a wonderful man!! He is sticking by his wife no matter what. She can't walk, she can't sit, she cant sleep - maybe a couple hours at a time and is in constant pain.

Because of this Tony needs to be there because the Doctors and nurses cant handle her with care like he can. Doing all this takes 24/7 for Tony...

He has to sleep there sometimes in a cold room with a couch. The food there is crap and everywhere around there is sickness.

I was so happy to visit Tony but at the same time my heart ached so terribly. I just wanted to tear up when i left and was in my car.

I am afraid of hospitals by nature so me going there was so hard, but i knew Tony needed a friend. So i bit my tongue and went.

What I think Tony needs is some serious support. He has no time to cook or look after himself... he is frustrated and in emotional pain.

They are waiting to be transferred to a rehab hopefully soon as she needs to learn to walk again but the doctors and nurses cant spend the time needed.

Unless she gets transferred soon i feel afraid for them.

During this time and Tony never asked for anything he was modest, but i can say based on my perception he is hurting financially. In a serious way.

His websites need help. He needs various things to make him feel good again, and all i know he needs help now!

If anyone wants to know more details they can Pm me but I wanted to be able to seriously share how much he needs us.....

If anyone has ever needed help so bad it his him!!

I will be doing the best i can to visit him various days, and asking him what else he needs from time to time but you know Tony - you have to pry it out of him...

Everyone has his pay pal already - he certainly needs the money.

I have the address of the hospital and room number and all details if people want to send stuff for Christmas....

Let me tell you for Xmas its going to be Tony in the hospital sitting on a chair helping his suffering wife....I feel so sad!

If you want to send stuff please do pm me for his details... and you can send notes, cards, gifts ect....

Food wise he has to spend so much money on garbage take out food... i was thinking of going grocery shopping for him....

Lets all work together i can do the foot work and i am close to him now.

Please guys understand he is suffering more than you think.

    Steve,

I am crying my eyes out right now,

thank you for such an in depth look at how our friend and his beautiful wife are suffering, and i must say you are now our Angel of mercy. Through you our love and thoughts can be sent. Nothing replaces human contact at a time like this, and i think you are a wonderful man to take your time and visit him for all of us. I hope god rewards you in your life for this kindness.

God i wish i could blink my eyes and take some of the pain away from Georgia and from Tony, i can't bear thinking about how sad and lonely he must feel and the pain she is going through, as well as the fears and worries. You must of left Tony with a brand new feeling, Hope, and just knowing that someone out there cares, even a whole community.

I will be sending you a pm, i can't afford much YET, but i will be sending some gifts, and I will transfer some Paypay money when i have some, promise...i want to make christmas just a "little" bit enjoyable for them, hoping they understand that there are people out here who care and are there for them.

I love you Steve for your sweet nature and wonderful compassion. You are a true friend and saint in your own way, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for going to see Tony and Georgia and giving them some love and support from all of us here.

Hi all and thank you for coming into this very important thread.

Tony had mentioned that it would help his website if we would go by and post in his blog.

Being rather thick sometimes (okay most) ... I am unaware of where exactly it is I need to go .... and also believe it or not I have never posted at someone else's blog so if there's any advice one might be better armed to know ...

could someone post a link to Tony's blog as I would surely go by and make a post.

    .......

GAP sent Tony some funds at Paypal. Would I be pushing the boundaries of good taste to challenge the other forums to meet our donation of $150?

Oh what the hell. I can't think of a better cause to push a few boundaries. Rick if you're reading this .... we'd like to hear from GIA as well.

... and if you didn't read this ... I'm pretty sure the word will get back to you soon.

What Steve has said is very true, this poor couple have been enduring this tragedy for so very long now.

You often read about how much % of your donations end up in some promoter's pocket .. .well here's a chance to give and know that 100% will go to someone worthy.
Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

I also plan on posting in each and every Affiliate programs Room over at GAP asking that they show this affiliate of theirs some support with a donation, or gift and i would love to see someone here and at GIA, CAP, PAP, CAL..etc...doing the same.

IF we could get all the affiliate programs that TOny works with involved with some donations, we could really make a difference in their lifes before christmas!

Yes, I agree with that it would be perfect if forums also could help Tony. And it would be great if affiliate programs also would help.

I suppose his blog is here http://casinoscafe.com/blog/ . But I don't know how to post there. I don't see where I can register.

And finally I have found GAP , I heard about this forum, but couldn't find it.

And thank you Pat, if you find some time that to alert all forums and affiliate programs about this situation.

I'll also review his affiliate programs, and will contact them personally.
