website review and criticisms for a new member please!

Hey guys,
i've been a lurker on the site for awhile and just registered today and hope to become a good member on this board.
Anyway,
the site that i run is called sports solutions.

i alreadly got the great idea that i am working on now from another post
with a link manager and meta redirection for my affliate links..
i am in school for computers and sports gambling is my biggest hobby (even though i quit gambling) lol
either way
please be as brutal as you would like as i am looking for honest feedback that i can use to make my site better
i am also struggling with the project of making a successful message board with lots of people on it
any feedback would be loved by me

Just a couple of probably picky things.

You need to get your keywords closer the the first of the body text on the page. You repeat welcome to... twice in the earliest viewable text of the page.

I find the text in the menu on the left hard to read.

I would suggest you rephrase the following: Sports Solutions is a gambling web site.
You are a portal, and with the mayhem around online gambling right now, phrasing is important. You might also want to include a disclaimer.

thanks for the input..i will change the beginning of the body to bring the keywords closer
as for the left hand menu...on some browsers (including mine) it comes up black and easy to read but on others it comes up a lightish blue almost
anyone know why this might be?
