Thumbs down Whats everyones thoughts on deckmedia's latest E-mail?

    Hi all

Just received this, it has gone out to all affiliates what are your thoughts? I am not sure how to take it as i don't know if any players of ours use this method.

    Dear Affiliates,

I am writing to inform you that unfortunately we have lost GATM eCheck processor. This was a major processor for Deckmedia and a lot of money is owed to us by Echeck which appears to be lost at this stage.

Echeck was having issues with its confidential name 'GATM'. This term (GATM) leaked out across the internet and they contacted us on several occasions requesting that we ask affiliates to remove all references of 'GATM' from those gambling related sites listing it. Lots of affiliates assisted with this which was greatly appreciated. However many affiliates refused and the term 'GATM' remains on many sites and now the company has gone offline and is not responding.

In the past Deckmedia have taken huge loses upon us to ensure that affiliates have not lost out in such circumstances. For example, when Deckmedia lost Ewalletxpress and Mastercard, Deckmedia took the FULL hit ensuring all affiliates were paid the full amount for those months.

I regret to inform you that this time round Deckmedia will not be able to take these loses from Echeck and those affiliates who have earnings from Echeck deposits will have those earnings deducted. This will take place on the 31st March.

This is not a decision which was made easily and I apologize to all of those who will be affected by it.

Please try to understand the circumstances. This is a loss for everybody and unfortunately was out of our control.

    Kind Regards,

    Paul

    Hi Jamie,

I just tried a few keywords and there are plenty of sites that I can see. I tried...

    'global atm echeck'
    'global atm casino'

There's a lot of options you can try.

    I am using google USA.

    Thanks

But...but... But those phrases don't include their confidential name of GATM, which is what they objected to, nor do the gambling sites on the search results.

LoL It's early in the morning here and I might be using much less than 1% of my brain, but it seems to me that Global Atm is only a method to transfer money, not a holding facility. It doesn't follow that, because a payment processor pulls out, that affiliate's monies are lost. I am drinking coffee as fast as I can to catch up here!

Also, are the players going to be able to get their money?

    Hi,

The name 'GATM' and 'Global ATM' is the same group, I apologize I missed the second reference in my initial email. I have added it.

The problem was with the nature of the sites on which the term was listed.

There are many sites under those keywords listed in my previous post.

Most of our players have received payment already and we are still evaluating players who received cheques that have not been honored.

Got an email from Tropica too. I imagine we can expect form letters from all the Rival whitelabels. Anybody know the exposure on other software platforms?

From Tropica: "We regret to inform you that we have lost GATM(eCheckUS) as a processor. It seems they have suffered the same fate as EwalletXpress by being shut down by the US authorities. This processor was one of our main processing solutions and they owe us a considerable amount of money, which at this stage, we have lost.
Unfortunately, we are unable to absorb these losses due to the large amount. Any affiliate earnings made from GATM deposits, will need to be deducted, starting from March's commission.
Please note, should the situation change whereby we recover the funds from them, we will add the earnings due to you, back to your account.
Kindly note, we do have a new eCheck processor in place for US players only.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me."

Ooh, sorry. I didn't realize 'Global ATM' was included, although I realize that is their name. I thought that GATM was some kind of secret nick-name they wanted to keep secret. Thanks for clearing that up!
