Yes it is good Barney Frank was re-elected. However, now that Republicans have control of the House of Representatives, next year Frank will not be the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee.

Having Bacchus as chairman of the banking committee instead of Frank is not good. Bacchus is one of the biggest critics of online poker regulation. While it's good Reid was re elected, losing the House to Republicans was disappointing.

Lets not lose track of the push to make the republican party more constitutional, with the tea party and many eyes on congress I wouldn't expect the republicans to limit our freedoms of choice and how we can spend our money.

Hey Chris, long time no see.

Not so sure they care about much of anything except not paying their fair share of taxes and making Obama a one term president! Did you see the 'popular' ones LYING about President Obama's trip to Asia costing $250 million dollars a DAY? It was so outragous the Pentagon broke rules to speak out and label it as 'comical'. hehe I saw that Michele Bachman on CNN and just about gagged over her spreading the lie on national cable tv.

Having Bacchus at the helm is problematic, but I'm sure he will come around eventually. It may take an uprising, but that's how stuff goes in Washington. IMO the majority are corrupt or inept.

Bacchus will not "come round" EVER. He's grandstanding on this issue.

Well - when I say EVER - I mean until a big US business makes it "worth his while" to legalise it .... *cough* (suitcase of cash) *cough*

Well, that's a good news for all online casino gamblers. At least they still have someone to rely on Congress.

That's really a good news. The battle for online casino legalization will still be alive and kicking!
