It is although it's not recommended at all.

You are better to create H4's and H5's although these don't have much significance when it comes to the search engines.

This is the way I do it:

    H1 (1 only)
    |----H2 Subheading 1
    |------H3 1 Subheading 1
    |------H3 1 Subheading 2
    |------H3 1 Subheading 3
    |----H2 Subheading 2
    |------H3 2 Subheading 1
    |------H3 2 Subheading 2
    |------H3 2 Subheading 3
    |----H2 Subheading 3
    |------H3 3 Subheading 1
    |------H3 3 Subheading 2
    |------H3 3 Subheading 3

    Etc...

I like your structure for the header tags baldidiot. That's the way I would do it too, looks very natural and professional.

Yes its possible. I don't know why it would not be "recommended". A heading is just that - a heading.
We use h-styles from most headings and subheadings and will have 3-4 per page including multiples.

Yes i use numerous........only 1 x h1......the majority of the time i'll use the h2 and h3 usually 2 or 3 a time.....for the sidebar headings....but if i'm feeling a bit funky will use them within the page content and h4 + h5 for sidebar headings.......there is no hard and fast rule...it's personal preference whatever fits in and works best for your site....as long as you do not spam the **** out of them and they are relevant to you content...ya laughin....you will not get penalized for using a few of each....
