Default Watch my stats drop - Gambling Wages

    WATCH MY STATS DROP!

I titled this thread "Watch my stats drop" because
that is what I predict will happen.

It is now December 29th, 2009. 8:07am PST.

Here are my current months stats at
Gambling Wages for Cool Cat Casino.

I plan on taking a screenshot many times a day
for the next couple days until the month closes.

Shall we take bets on what will happen
to my earnings between now and then?

As a disclaimer... we do not promote these casinos. There has never been a banner that I know of for these casinos up at our site. However........... because we run a forum that is mostly based on the newest no deposit casino bonuses, and other casino bonuses, we encourage our members to share offers they find elsewhere that our members might also be eligible for.

Of course we have members that post free chip codes for Gambling Wages casinos as well as all other casinos. We don't tell members what casinos they can post about. But we do try and always post under any post for a Gambling Wages Casino (or any rogue casino) to the effect of "Please only use this coupon like fun money/fun play. We don't recommend depositing here and would suggest you use your hard earned money that you decide to deposit with for a more reputable casino like iNetBet, Club World, Casino 33, Mainstreet, etc."

We also have all these casinos listed in our Rogue Casino area. But affiliate links are linked in some places where the casinos are mentioned, therefore we have picked up some players over the years.

Thanks for sharing! Okay I wager coupons and manager credits will cancel out any earnings. Next if you happen to profit it will be shaved off before the end of December 2009. Plus any new players will start a new colony on MARS; therefore will not be able to play again.

The players and earnings will be poached so these thugs can support their luxurious life style.
A tough group for any reputable webmaster to promote. If a player conflict arises very little support in place to remedy the problem.

I've already received a very cryptic email from Vipin.

    Don't they have a no-negative carryover?

I will review their T&C to see.

Were you negative the previous month?

The numbers don't seem to make sense ...
What am I missing here ?

    There's only $2,150 cash deposited ... and you are $71K up ... your share being $21K !!

I can see that manager credits and coupons have inflated the value (an amazing $73K) ... but how do you make a $71K profit when there is only $2K REAL CASH in the system ???

This is funny money accounting - worse than the US federal reserve !!

Good luck - hope you DO get a payout ...

Yes, the manager credits are an issue. I have had affiliates complain about the manager credits being subtracted from their commissions.

I don't see where all the money is coming from. Did the player deposited a large amount in a previous month?

I highly doubt anyone receives manager credits another method used by a rogue program to keep all earnings IMO. I do not expect Daera to receive a cent very sad. And to think this is common occurrence making affiliates a tad paranoid and pissed.

    Manger Credits $43,048.00

    Coupons $21,485.00

Earnings $21,302.22 Imagine for moment this is the amount you’re expecting only to have snatched away. (sick)

This group Gambling Wages (Virtual Group) poisons the RTG brand.

This is what I got from their T&C:

4.4. Negative balance: GW reserves the right to review all Negative Balances on a case to case basis for determination of pay amounts. GW also reserves the right to withhold partial or complete payments in cases of Fraudulent Player Actions, Chargebacks, and other specific instances, where intervention is required.

In the event of no negative carry over and that an Affiliate has a player that has won more than $25,000 (a "Big Winners") in a single month which causes the Affiliates overall earnings to be negative, Gambling Wages reserves the right to contact the Affiliate and temporarily remove the Big Winner from the Affiliates Channel (herein known as "Virtual fencing"). The formula that Gambling Wages will use to determine if a player has won more than $25,000 is on Net winnings less Total Approved Withdrawals less Bonuses from the first of the month until midnight on the last day of the month. The following outlines the Virtual fencing process:

    a. In the event that a player wins over $25,000 causing the referring Affiliates earnings to be negative at month's end, that player will be temporarily removed or Virtual fenced from under the Affiliate, until which time the Big Winner has lost back their winnings.

    b. Earnings from the current month will be retained by the Affiliate, as the Big Winner will be virtual fenced in the month in which the win occurred.

    c. Once the negative net win from the Big Winner is recouped, they will be returned to the Affiliate to earn off future positive net win.

Was there a large negative balance last month?

Hope this helps. I will also contact them to try to get some clarity on the situation for you.

I hope you can get some cash!

    Hi Anthony,

The problem with the term you just posted... is that it was just now added. It hasn't been there even all of this month. It was only added today or yesterday.

I have no problem with terms like that. I do have a problem with adding a term at months end and expecting it to apply. (i.e. term added today, to be applied to my affiliate account for what happened in November and December). New terms should only apply to things occuring from that point on. Agreed?

Anyway, I'm having talks with GW now. And will let you guys know what the outcome is. It might not be until next week with New Year's and all.

    Hey TheGooner,

I'm sorry I'm only now responding to this. For some reason I don't get email notifications from GPWA threads when replies come in. I get them instantly from other forums where I subscribe to threads. I'm going to have to check if they're going to spam or why I don't get them.

I'll brb to post a screenshot from Nov so you understand what happened here.

I'm really sorry I wasn't more thorough in my first post to include November. It would have made more sense to everyone if I had.

I don't know all the facts yet, but by looking at November, I'm pretty sure that one of the players in November won big towards the end of the month. Because they had a no-negative carry-over, on December 1st my account showed a fairly large sum of positive earnings. (about $10k I think). Mid December I checked again and found my account negative big time. Then I just happened to check a few days ago and seen what I posted in my first post. So I'm guessing after a month, the player eventually played it all back. Or something like that.

The real loser here won't be me, but the player. However, I'm speculating somewhat. We are talking though, and I'll let you know what the final outcome is next week or as soon as I know.

Right - so there was a huge winner in November (who is probably unable to cash out due to bonus rules) and he/she is giving it all back in December. I got that. I also understand some dodginess going on with manager credits and re-writing the affiliate rules to get around the "no monthly negative rollover" ... errr ...... except for big winners (recently added).

But still, there is only $1525 + $2150 cash deposited over the two months, so the maximum that the casino can earn in this period is $3675 (if it's all lost) am I right? So ignoring all the semantics about monthly negatives, and what the rules lawyers say, if the casino has pocketed around $3700 maximum REAL CASH then the payout that can be reasonably expected should be in the $1000 to $2000 range?

I'm sure that the casino will not be paying out $21K this month - and on a cashflow view I can see their point - if only a small amount of real money has been won ....

But these stats, and the credits just seem to be a method to massage the numbers any which way the casino chooses. This time it seems that the manager credits has caused a bubble that crossed the month and now negatively affects their liabilities ... BUT how many times has the casino used "manager credits" to wipe out an affiliates earnings?

    Keep us informed Daera !

    An update -

I spoke to the GW management in length. They gave me the full history of this player and his transactions. I jumped the gun a little due to other people's opinions of GW and their associated casinos.

No player withdrawals were denied or purposely held, which was my major concern. I just didn't think it was fair that it was lose/lose for the player and affiliate and apologize if this was construed any differently. I wasn't looking to get paid on a player who lost his casino winnings but the lack of transparency and clarity in their stats system is what irked me the most. I have been told this will soon be corrected nevertheless.
