Steve Ruddock from OnlinePokerReport.com wrote an interesting article Friday about eight things that will happen if Sheldon Adelson gets his way -- as in, the U.S. places a federal ban on online gambling.

The eight items on the list are all things that Adelson supposedly is trying to stop from happening, like increased money laundering and minors' access to gambling. As Ruddock points out, a federal ban would simply create an unregulated, black market, which would only allow for more shady activity.

But we all know that none of that is really the point when it comes to Adelson. It's all about the Benjamins, baby.
