Default ESPN reaches new deal with WSOP

ESPN has been airing the World Series of Poker since 2002. Their production has expanded every year, whether its adding hole card cameras or covering more tournaments. The Worldwide Leader reached a new seven-year agreement with the WSOP yesterday.

The deal will keep the popular poker tournament on ESPN and its multiple platforms through 2018.

    From Casino City:

"The WSOP is proud to call ESPN home for another nine years," said Jeffrey Pollack, President of Harrah's Interactive Entertainment and the World Series of Poker. "This long-term agreement ensures that our content will continue to reach sports fans around the world through every medium that matters."
