Need help with Moneymechanic

Hiya

I affiliated with Moneymechanic a while ago and have had some problems with the site.

First I couldn't log in, my IE6 does not wan't to work now I use Firefox 1.0 .
Everything seems fine but the "login" button doesn't work. Then I got Opra7 and was able to log in, but now I cannot access the banners or other resources.

Are any of you in the same boat? Anyone affiliated to them and do you have the same problem?

Unfortunately a lot of affiliate programs are not firefox compatible. A lot of programs will allow you to login but then some type of javascript wont work. This is more the fault of firefox than that of the affiliate program. Hopefully when the new version is released sometime in march, these problems will be solved.

I had this problem. However, I found the reasons to be threefold.

1) SAIX hadn't cleared their cache and I was trying to log into a cached site. I contacted SAIX and after the cache was cleared, it worked.
2) At some stage in the past, I had somehow added one of their IP's to my banned addresses on my Macafee firewall. Not a good thing
3) I can't recall if their button for login is flash or java but I do recall that I reinstalled java and macromedia flash and that sorted out the problem I had at that stage.

I used all the browsers I have and I have the latest FFox I am aware of (1.0)
I tried a little trick, check all the links on the page and there were only 3 or 4.
After checking I saw that those are the working buttons' links.

I don't know much but i think there is a problem on their side, I never had any problems with firefox before and i've been using it for about a year now, how do you xplain Opra? I guess I should just find an affiliate of theirs and ask if they have had any probs.

There are several programs that Opera are not compatible with. Truthfully though, I can't remember which.

Rather go back to IE6 for the moment. I am using IE6 and got in as I said?

Send your requirements to Cheryl at Money Mechanic. I am sure she will help you sort it out. BUT, if you can find a way to phone her, then she will probably be able to get one of their tech guys to work through this problem with you. May even be able to do this on MSN or similar.

I have found them to be VERY helpful.

Could someone explain why some sites insist on using j/script or flash for simple links? It seems mad to lock out potential customers.

Yo big I just got around my problem.

I have a network set up at home and I decided to share my internet connection with my brother, I then used his Internet Explorer and now I'm back in the game. Sending Cheryl her mail right now. I think it might be my firewall that is messing up IE.

Have to go sleep now, pulling a nightshift 2night.

I used to think night shift was out but when you deal with the USA market, you tend to be online till 2 or 3 AM anyway. So, I am permanently on night shift

have you tried to use any spyware killer? Yahoo has a free one. I had a similar problem once... it was some spyware/virus.
