    Default Advice starting out

Hi, I am looking for some advice I want to start promoting casinos, but I currently don't have my own website I'm using Twitter at the moment I'm just wondering what's the best way to link them to my affiliate links, hashtags to use etc any tips you may have would really be appreciated.

I don't use Twitter any more - but I don't think they would allow you to advertise directly (with affy links) via them.
Get a website - very easy & cheap these days!

IMO facebook would be a much better platform than twitter.
However if you already have thousands followers on twitter, you can give it a shot.

This said, the best option would be to have your own site and redirect your social traffic there

Yeah I agree with the above. Facebook is much mcuh more effective than twitter and the sooner you start to build your own WP site... the sooner you can start to rank and pull in some google traffic.

I've done a LOT of social traffic driving and I find that 500 social clicks is worth around the same as one organic click from google. Something to keep in mind!

    Hey Peter,

As far as free themes are concerned it's really not a gigantic thing. You're looking for something really simple. Black upon white always works best as far as I'm concerned. Just keep it super simple and focus on creating a strong user experience.

A couple of years ago I was sending affiliate links out on social media and knew nothing about websites. I threw myself into creating a wordpress site and after lots and lots of trial and error with design and SEO I got to where I am now.

Just keep at it and don't get discouraged if you don't see instant results, you may end up creating content that no one sees for months but if you stick at it you'll get there!

Social media isn't a waste of time.... it will help with the SEO for your website. Google uses social media as one of many "signals" to gauge the usefulness of the website to the end user and of course the websites popularity.

    Hi @PeterH92,

When it comes to website building, my advice is not to reinvent the wheel. Take a look around at SERP top and use prototype you would be able to support in meaning of content with just a bit of redesign.
And another way is try your luck in streaming, nowadays these guys pop up like mushrooms after the rain.

I think creating your own website is the best option, but do not dismiss the power of social media. FB and TW can help boost the traffic of your site if you lead your friends or followers to your website. For your site, basic design or template will do so that it would be easier for casino-provided ad banners to blend to your site template.

If you want to build your own website it's really easy with the CMS that our out there. There is also templates for iGaming websites that you can buy. I had no problem build my own site out of no experience at all. And if you want help there is always options like fiverr.com and similiar who can help you get set up. You should really reg your site as soon as possible since site age is a real ranking factor.

Hi, everyone I know that this thread is old now but it saves me starting a new one. I haven't been active lately back in 2017 I wanted to start my affiliate site however I had other things to attend to and I didn't get around to it. I have loads of spare time right now and I would like to get back into the project. I could make my site with Wordpress but It'll take loads of time and I am not that good with coding. I have found this website called GAPVO https://gapvo.com/ It's a turnkey casino affiliate website just wondering if any of you guys have heard of it and if any of you are using the platform?
