    Default Player wins $200,000

Do affiliates (Bovada) have to eat super huge jackpots like this or do they wipe it off.....ridiculous

    Casino NGR-$200,663.
    Total NGR-$204,141.89
    Income-$51,035.47

It is ridiculous -51K $ income, really hard to turn them on plus, unless some high rollers come to make even the balance at the end of the month/year.

Yes, it's certainly an absurd situation but unfortunately these things can happen sometimes. They'll obviously never make a cent if they continue generating negative revenue at this rate.

In this case, just abandon that account or try to make a deal that they clear the negative for you. Continuing promoting under this situation doesn't make sense.

That's got to hurt. But, if you stick around - it should come back.

From recent experience I can tell you that they will not wipe it off, even though if the money was a progressive jackpot the casino lost nothing because it was funded by player contributions. I explained that these wins don't count against affiliates at other programs and I basically got a "talk to the hand" response.

The player might lose the money again, just be a little bit patient.

Otherwise you might want to replace that brand or try your luck with a newly opened affiliate account. But of course you lose the revenues of your existing players if that lucky winner doesn't lose his winnings.

I was few times down by 6 figures there with a player. They always lost it. It may take months.

If this was Ignition instead of Bovada, the negative wouldn't be rolled over to the next month and you probably would've been in line for a HUGE February when they chunked it back off...

Talk to the affiliate program and see if you can get the player moved into an account on his own. That way you can still promote the brand and send them players. It's a win win situation. If they don't, stop actively promoting them and send your traffic somewhere else.

I've had a few big winners 300k + 200k and managed to move them to accounts on their own. However that's with different affiliate programs.

It can't hurt to ask, quite a few Affiliate progs have a clause for such things.

Progressive wins should not affect NGR unless the casino is paying the win (i.e. it is not a pooled progressive). Have you found out which game it was?

Aren't progressive pots paid out by the game developer/studio/operator rather than casino? Does your contract say anything about this?

Some progressive jackpots are unique to the casino.

Last month my GVC account got hit by 300k in a day, the next day they thrown it all back. They had only deposited a few k to win it. Must be devastating.

What did the player deposit to win?

If the OP can post which Jackpot it was, then I'm sure we can figure out if it's a unique (casino only) or combined (multiple casinos, provider, player contributions). What confuses me me though, isn't every progressive's jackpot, raised by player contributions?

A percentage of each bet goes into the progressive pot. Hence, if that's the case, then the casino (regardless if it's a unique or not), they have the cash to pay the win, from the player contributions... Yes/No???

Some folks just shouldn't gamble. Who in the right mind, would win 300K, then lose it ALL back the next day

$300k lost back - that's a loss you will never ever forget.

That's how it should be, the only expenses I can see would be the jackpot-seed and network/service provider fees.

Yeah it happened to me exactly the same a while ago with Bodog Asia with a high roller that won 250K, it took almost a year to cover this negative...
