Please Review My Website - Need Feedback and Comments

Hi Everyone,

I am new in the gaming business and I created my very first website (took 1 year to build) and finally finished it last month. There is still lots more I need to add, but at least I wanted it to get it up and running. My website is called http://exoticwagerbonusblog.com

I still have a lot to learn and I am diligently doing research to improve the performance, SEO and ranking for my website, which is very VERY confusing. I am using WordPress, hosted by Hostgator, I have 19 plugins without any issues so far. I am registered with Google, Alexa, Bing and Yanex.

Most important for me are 2 things; 1) other than building this website what is it that I need to ensure that it is well maintain on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis? Is there anything in particular that I need to be aware? 2) How do I get traffic on my website are there any forums that could lead me to the right direction to market my website so that I can get more traffic?

Any feedback or comments would be so greatly appreciated.

Hmm it loads fine for me. Had to wait a couple of seconds at first, but nothing very long.

I like how straightforward the site feels. Everything is simple and easy to find. You could improve the Top 10 Casinos list because it looks a little messy right now, weird logos and everything seems to be aligned to left and maybe top? Doesn't look too good anyhow.

You should also think about placing the search field and newsletter subscription somewhere higher, they should be above the fold in my opinion

Good start on the site, although 19 plugins is far too many in my opinion.

Personally, I would move the signup/signin and put a creative there that performs well, or maybe rotate through your top offers, since it is above the fold.

By the way, it appears you have Ruby Bingo listed as Parley, they are NOT Parlay.

Hi Rick, Thank you for your reply. Yes I know 20 is a lot, but I need them all. I am down to 17 so I tried to cut down as much as possible. I wish I knew more coding so that I could simplify my website, but unfortunately I do not know that much. When I started this website I started out with ZERO knowledge. Used a lot of Google and Youtube, they both saved my life

As to what you are mentioning in your comment to me about putting up a creative I have no idea of what you are talking about. May if you would be so kind as to explain it better in laymen terms so that I understand better.

I made some miner changes (more appealing to the eye) so all I need is traffic. How the hell do I get traffic on my site? That is the big mystery question.

Yes, having plugins to get past knowing the code is really the true beauty of wordpress. It's just that a handful of us have the opinion that the least amount of plugins you need to perform the functions, the better off you are in terms of reduced overhead on the server, as well as reducing the attack surface for hackers.

What I mentioned about the signup section, in my opinion you might do better having advertising there (banners are often called creatives), since that section is "above the fold" (able to be seen in most browsers upon page load without having to scroll down). You could also swap spots with the login and your top ten...

Whether you try my suggestions, or anyone else's, the main thing to remember is to track and study your changes and keep testing until you find what works best on YOUR site, with YOUR visitors.

it looks good but for me it´s too much text and less of images that make a structure on the site. Or let´s say I don´t know where to focus on the page. I miss things like "click here" It is very clear on the overview pages but it´s not clear on the homepage f.e. I think this is a page where an image in the header would make sense. The text slider on the top of the page is hard to read (red font on black background)

I would however add some welcoming text there on the top, welcoming your visitors, introducing your site a bit so to speak. Not only good for your visitors, but also good for SEO.

Having said all that: I think this is awesome for your first endeavor in to the gambling market.

Don know about others.. but I get a massive amount of mobile traffic, Could not get your site to load via mobile device, but judging just on the desktop site its hard to read, small text and all over the show... Maybe start with some type of tile system "with some punchy excerpts" to get ctr's to a review, try and replace animated images with solid it will give you a more credible feel, usually lots of ani images in one area are reserved for pirate and pron sites.
