Default What niche is the most profitable starting out

I would like to know which arena offers the best initial profitablity for someone starting out and wanting to turn an initial profit as soon as practical; Poker, Casino, Live casino, or? Please send text not ads or a link to an article on the subject

Hello Troy. I had a great conversation with you today. For someone who is just starting out you are certainly doing your homework.

I am interested in what other GPWA members would consider to the be the most "worth while" niche to start off with. I'm sure many will suggest picking a niche that you enjoy doing.

I for one really enjoy the live games so my vote would be the live gaming sector (you can see that statement coming from a mile away! lol).

So, if others are just starting out what topic would cover? bingo, poker, casino, sports?

I know it's been said many times before but my advice is to find a niche. If you don't then you're expecting to compete with thousands of other people/sites all doing a similar thing and that does not lead to quick success, which is what you say you want. If you have reasonable funds to throw into promotion (ie. PPC and other advertising) then sure, attack the big market but if you don't then find a niche (as small as you like) and you'll find a small amount of traffic. You can build on that.

Troy, you're probably sick of hearing the usual 'pick a niche' answer, but sadly it's true!

I would go so far as to say 'pick a really defined niche' and start from there. So instead of just 'casino' or 'live casino', I would look at Roulette (systems, tracking methods) or Blackjack (perfect strategy players, how to beat blackjack etc).

The Live Casino niche is really getting a lot of press, although I've never tried it, I can see how it would appeal. I think you'd have a lot of luck with the live casinos and pushing to an Asian audience.

Luck and gambling is a serious part of many Asian cultures and you could target this market with your live casino site perhaps?

Or if slots are your thing, maybe look at one aspect of slots, like 'movie theme slots', these types of sites are very niche but you can rank high for long tails and create a unique site that dominates your chosen niche fast.

Hope it goes well for you mate.

I can't stress enough how true that is. I would probably add that a close second element of success is "content". good old fashion quality content that makes your site a reference for players. It's a long hard process (that's what she said!) that will yeild good long term success.

Sounds like a great strategy to me.

I've been an affiliate for the live casino niche and now the program manager for LiveCasinoPartners. I've seen fantastic results for my personal affiliate sites as well as other affiliates who promote the live casino games.
