Flutter CEO announces he is stepping down
Earlier today, Flutter Entertainment announced that Dan Taylor will become the company’s next Group CEO on 1 October 2026, replacing Peter Jackson, who will step down at the end of September.
Taylor, who currently leads Flutter International and serves as president, has played a key role in expanding the company’s global operations and managing major acquisitions. Jackson leaves after nearly nine years at the helm, during which Flutter grew from a primarily European operator into a global sports betting and iGaming leader with major brands including FanDuel, Betfair, and PokerStars. He will remain with the company as an advisor through the end of 2026 to assist with the leadership transition.
According to Flutter's press release, John Bryant, Chair of the Board, said, "The Board is pleased to appoint Dan as Flutter’s next Group Chief Executive Officer. He has an outstanding track record of delivering results, building high-performing teams and leading complex international businesses. Dan’s breadth of experience and responsibilities across the Group, combined with his deep understanding of the industry, give us every confidence that he is the right person to lead Flutter into its next phase of growth."
