Default Organic traffic - what's the average Visit to FTD ratio?

Would like to hear about other affiliates what are some average numbers you are getting?

For example for 1000 organic, SE traffic - how many FTD's should one expect?

Some programs convert much better than others. For example, I'm getting an average of 1-2 FTDs per 400 visitors for one sponsor, while another one hardly converts no matter how hard I push it which makes me wonder. Some sponsors have a wider range of payment options, better promos, better terms and conditions, etc, so there are many other variables that one needs to take into account when analyzing conversion rates.

Sure, that's expected. How about total FTD numbers from all brands per 1k visits?

It depends on why the organic traffic is on your site - so if from Search Engines the key word of phrase matters.
If the search word / phrase involves joining, signup or bonus codes then it's more likely.

If it's not specifically about opening a new betting account then it could be less than 1 FTD per 1000 visits, per 10,000 visits.

I can talk casino only. Just checked two operators with a "significant" amount of converting traffic.
#1 Visits to Signup: 4/1 - Signups to FTD: 2/1 Visits to FTD: about 10/1
#2 Visits to Signup: 4,5/1 - Signups to FTD: 9,5/1 Visits to FTD: about 100/1 (which is way too high IMO)

I guess through all operators I promote, I have an average Visit/FTD ratio of about 40/1

Depends heavily on your KWs, news traffic, tips traffic, etc, etc.
I'm taking a rough guess aggregating a couple sites together and saying that the ballpark would be about 60:1

all depends on traffic quality.. people get to obsessed with getting lots of visits instead of getting quality visits with good conversions and high value, I would say between 10 and 50 is good.,

    Hi all,

I think the average is 5% (50 FTD from 1000 visits), but can be 10% or 15%. It depends on many things

I think OP was looking for FTD to visits to his page.
I think the replies are FTD to visits to affiliate program. That's a big difference because you might have only 1% or 10% of your site's visitors actually click on a link...

Anyway, as others already pointed out, FTD to visitors (on your page or also to your affiliate program) ratio can vary massively depending on the keywords the visitors used to visit your site. Think about the different conversion rate from someone who is looking for
    - step-by-step guide with screenshots on how to open account at XY
    vs
    - online roulette table screenshot

But... why are you looking for these numbers? I think it's better to directly look for ideas on how to
    - get more visitors to your page
    - get more people to click on your links
    - get a better FTD/click ratio

Yes exactly, that's what I was looking for, sorry if it wasn't that clear.

And I understand that these can vary a lot. I would guess that more high you rank and more competitive keywords you rank for, better website visit to FTD rate you'll get.

I'm just looking for general idea what numbers would be considered acceptable, but I guess my numbers are just fine being 40-70 SE visits / 1 FTD.

For our best converting sites it's probably 1 RMP per 10 visitors. That's the kind of number we were looking at last time I looked into it in any detail.

Goes up from there to one in 1k or more, depends on the topic.

Thanks for this great insight eenzoo. To confirm, for every 4 clicks you send the operator, you are seeing 1 sign up, then for every sign up you are seeing 1 in 10 convert to an NDC? Is this on organic search traffic?

in example #1, I need to bring about 4 users to the operator to get 1 signup, and I need about 2 signups to get 1 FTD. means I need to bring 8-11 users to the operator to get one FTD. Checked the numbers over a time frame of 3 months. It's a pretty constant conversion ratio.

Yes, 100% traffic from organic rankings.

Amazing thanks again. One final question, what is the average rev you can expect per NDC? Or is it too variable?

The exact lifetime revenue per player is... 237.12$

No, you cannot calculate that exactly, because on rev share it's lifetime.
    It depends on
    - country of player
    - aff program / casino (shaving, retention etc)
    - your rev share
    - even of your website (user intent: bonus hunting vs VIP program for highrollers)

If you need a rough number, look up the CPA of a few programs for your main countries and add some % for the upside of rev share vs CPA.

That is INCREDIBLE if you are referring to visitors to your website:RMP ratio!

I thought this was an interesting question, so I have created a poll on this general topic to feature in today's newsletter. You can see the poll here:

What is your average Visitor to FTD (First Time Depositor) Ratio?

Great idea Michael can you clarify whether visit refers to a click to an operators site or whether it refers to an initial visit to the aff site itself? I presume in this case the poll is referring to the conversion rate from click out of aff site, to FTD?

    Thanks,

    Simon

Actually, I was viewing the poll was asking about the conversion rate from a visit to the affiliate site to being a First Time Depositor at an operator site. I will amend my poll question to make sure that is crystal clear.

Great numbers btw and the metrics I personally like the most is new signups to FTD, around 40% is what I get with best performing operators.
