Hello Everyone,

I've received this email from betfair for increased reward plan
I must say I like this fixed rev-share concept, 30% for life is not bad, I dont believe in the system of "levels" when it comes to life-time rev-share deals.
But than I went to the site: http://affiliates.betfair.com/page.aspx?l=1&p=21
and I see that it shows levels 25%-35% and only sports marked as 30% life-time so I was wondering if anyone understand what that means ?
Very confusing....

Gaming Commission changes
We are pleased to announce that from the 1^st of November we are going to be increasing the standard reward plan to 30% revenue share across all of our products. This will be effective for all customers acquired from the 01/11/2014.
The new structure is explained below:
§ Sportsbook – 30% Lifetime
§ Casino – 30% Lifetime
§ Poker – 30% Lifetime
§ Bingo – 30% Lifetime
§ Games (Arcade/Exchange games) – 30% Lifetime
§ Sports Exchange – 30% Year 1, 20% Year 2, 15% Year 3-5
If you are on a bespoke gaming reward plan and would like to renegotiate, please contact your account manager.
Terms and Conditions changes
We’ve made some changes to our Affiliate Terms which will be effective from the 1^st November. We’ve provided a summary of the changes for your convenience below. As of the 1^st November you will be required to accept these changes in the NetRefer system.

Addition of Negative Netting Off between products.

From the 1^st November anyone on the standard reward plan will be subjected to negative netting off between all product commissions excluding the Sports Exchange product. This is to bring us more in line with the market and will allow us to offer better promotions and high commissions to our partners.

Please note; this does not affect No Negative Carryover which is still available to all affiliates as standard on the programme.

I just got that email, but nothing about new AM at the end of the month!

This is the big problem though. The sports exchange is their best product and where any proper sports punter gravitates. Until this becomes life-time . . .

Still another tiny step in the right direction. Thought there are still problems like 'justbookies' mentioned, an update in the positive direction is always great to see.

I think Betfair is going to lose market share in sports betting exchange pure product.
They customer care is horrible, sometimes and I lost (as a player) 20 Euro, fighting for three months to close my account and stop charging me "inactivity" fee.
As an affiliate, I prefer promoting Betdaq, WBX (despite of their unfriendly terms) and new star: SMARKETS.

Well it's their 2nd or 3rd in the last year I think. At least gives a hope perhaps.
