Hey Folks, well wanted to test if we could chat about online gambling trends and development in the countries of eastern europe and russia.
First of all, eastern europe: ukraine, czech republic, poland, hungary, romania, bulgaria, russian federation (its european part) and a few other.
Well i know some casinos working with that area like www.x-casino.com, www.goldfishka.com and a few other. There are a few good sites really offering information for players to the russian speaking audience such as www.pokeroff.com, www.kappara.ru, webazart.ru and other. Well of course not a big portion of you does speak russian но те кто понимает о чем я...вполне возможно обсудить тенденции развития
i received a few emails about our capacity for the eastern european market (www.gamblex.net - that's our network) and basically in January President Putin declared the internet gambling to be illegal in Russia so some companies immediately started the move from .ru to .com but that's not the main important part
I know that eastern europe has really good potential for poker, as for slots - there are already too many...
for example in Ukrainian land-based gambling, there are 6000 operators with 3/4 of them not having license and appr 90% of the entire market are slot halls or slot machine roooms
so wanted so see if anyone here had interest in this geographic area and maybe we could speak about what it is going to be in future.
One more thing, there is a limited number of internet users since a big portion of the post soviet countries in the area are still developing or with agricultural economy mainly so...What do you think about gambling in Russia, Ukraine and other countries?
Poland is already a way ahead since they have a really nice live poker club with satellite tournaments for the EPT and a big number of sportsbetting operators already offers polish as their language for players
Looking forward to hearing from you folks
