    Default Happy Fake Birthday!

    Hey all
I would like to wish all my 50 skype contacts, and at least 500 GPWA members, who celebrate today their fake birthday!
May this year bring everything that you ever dreamed of.

    Happy new year!

    Nick

Haha, it wasn't just me then. Today was my fake birthday somewhere because I received two email cards.

Unfortunately, REAL birthdates are often used for verification purposes for financial and official documents ... and one major e-wallet wants you to type it in each time you send money - so having those dates available online when not REALLY required (forum accounts, and affiliate accounts) just does not make sense.

It's basic information protection to minimise scamming.

I try to set mine to 1/1/1900 whenever possible (technically making me fake birthday 114 yesterday)
