'Amazing' stats by bet365

New Sign-ups: 310
New Depositors: 125
(185 users signed-up for fun?)

Total Deposits: €39,757.73
Volume: €236,601.82
Profit for bet365: €12,955.06
My profit: €4,091.65

From these stats we can conclude that only 32.59% from the money deposited, have been lost by the players. Even if i deduct €3,000-4,000 for bonuses, which is extremely high, the stats still do not make any sense.

Is that logical to you guys?

Yes...I have ref'd more players in the last 9 months than you, more new depositors, double your deposit amounts, more volume and have a very slightly higher net revenue number. You don't consider withdrawal amounts & redeposits, how much of X was withdrawn and deposited again? 40k is definitely not a unique amount.

My stats are somewhat similar in terms of revenue for that exact period, just twice as less regs and about the same number of depositors. The amount deposited is slightly less than yours, the bet365 profit and my profit are just like yours.

As blendtec mentioned you do not see the withdrawals. Therefore if someone deposits 900€ today, loses 300€, supposedly your profit is 100€. If this player withdraws that amount left of 600€, then decides that he wants to have some more action, redeposits the exact same amount and loses another 300€, your cut 100€ again, you would see that your deposits section will show 1500€, bet365 revenue 600€ and your revenue 200€.

He withdraws again, and redeposits a week later, loses the last 300€ and you are left with total deposits: 1800€, bet365 profit 900€, your cut 300€. Seeing this you will conclude, 50% of the money deposited were lost, when in fact ALL of the money were lost.

CONMEN it would seem that you punters are rather savvy or smart - and are not losing their entire balance quickly.
Would that be a surprise to you? I would expect Greek / Cypriot punters to be smart and use bonuses well.

I certainly would not expect all my experienced players to lose their balances - there will be variation of results.

XECUTABLE has outlined a good possible example of how the numbers would be generated - and I suggest that another example would simply be if you had a couple of winning sizeable winning players.

I have accounts at all my clients - and (in the main) I am still working off initial deposits that I placed there years ago - generating turnover many times my deposit - and at some places I have withdrawn several times my initial deposits as well.

One way to get a better feel is to run the reports monthly - and see if you see a consistent pattern - or whether you see the ups and downs that I'd expect from a player base of 125 active players.

Of course this is all speculation - and the best person to answer your question is your Bet365 AM.

TheGooner: xecutable's example seems good, but sounds difficult to me for a person to deposit 200€, lose €50 for example and withdraw the other €150 to redeposit it later... If he is not planning to spend it, why did he deposit this amount?

Anyways, I'm not expecting from my players to lose all their money, because then they would not have incentives to play, but would expect more profit. That's all. Thanks for your comments

The key figure here is the profit / volume %. From your stats you'll see that 365 are holding (profit) around 5.5% across your players betting markets. This is consistent with their (sports) pricing so there's nothing off here.

Players deposit and withdrawal for all manner of reasons and you'll go mad focusing too much on those numbers, unless they are wildly off of course.

CONMEN, I said that too, yet I had such player, depositing 3000, losing 1k, withdrawing and depositing then 2k. I don't know what his reasoning was, but this happens.

As TheGooner says, you can ask your manager, I am sure he will be happy to look into this and give you full details on what EXACTLY is happening rather then us brain storming ideas
