I just got "spanked" over at Miesters....for posting the link to my thread about "Fools" over at GAP...BB1's place, asking everyone to read and comment....I think its important and wanted everyone's opinion...and the members over there accused me of trying to "steal" there members!!

This is so petty, and i am sick of it...and this is why we will never become "one" community to fight anything that is important.

Unbelievable......I would never post a Spam link....to get members and am insulted by the accusation.

Yes they run a pretty strict forum, and some of the members there have might strong opinions..

I wouldn't worry about it Pat. With a forum that size and that active there is no way for them to know everyone. We know and love ya, but that's a big place and it's understandable if not everyone does. Also, there are many unscrupulous people that try to do dirty deeds to them lol.

I'm a huge CM fan, they help affiliates too and there are many affs there.

I saw a post over there I think it was [JVH or JHV The Movie] where that member went on the attack at one member in a manner that had my jaw dropping. The guy was banned and thread locked and if you read it you will see why. LMAO

It started during the last Presidential election. Some members immediately started throwing pot shots at me and trying to get under my skin to impress their friends. hehe

I was cool after a couple warnings then I left the political forum (the only one I posted in at that time) before the election occured due to just not wanting to deal with it.

THEN

During CAP Gate I was asking why my facebook profile picture was plastered all over the place as well as 'defending' myself against a ton of BS. Well one day I must have been in PMS mode and I posted a 'smart' or some called it 'snarly' reply and got put on a 7 day 'vacation'.

Forgot where I went, but I'm sure it was somewhere worthy.

NOTE: The person I insulted is now one of my best online buds and Farm Town neighbor so it's all good now!

Max the guy that slapped giggles hand is basically the guy at CM that deals with all the crap... spammers, complaints against casinos and bad players, his is not an easy job and he deals with a lot of scumbags.

Giggles as he didn't know who you were or exactly what you were doing, I think what he did, snip your link and make a comment about trying to steal members, is understandable.

If you put yourself in Max's place... I think you'll understand why he did what he did.

Although, I will admit that Max can get a little heavy handed at times, he is a good guy.

I do feel responsible for this problem. I was the person that pointed out that the link giggles posted at CM was to a registration page and not to a forum post.

This was all just a misunderstanding.

Did the link really take you to a "signup page"??? Omg, no wonder he thought I was trying to "steal" or "spam" members. I think I will go over and apologize to him for being so mad and rude after the fact.

Actually I mis spoke the link went to a standard vb "log on" form. But it is essentially the same thing as a sign up page.
