Why is it people can't people stop bickering - Are we all at school!

I am getting sick and tired of coming to GPWA and other forums and all I see is a bunch of people bickering and fighting about pointless ****. This is a gambling forum for affiliates to network and help each other, is it not?

A few members need to re-think why they are here.

1.) To network and make money or 2.) Cause un-needed drama

If its option 2 and my post offends you then get lost, your not needed here. If you can't bring anything positive to the forums then don't bother posting at all.

I am looking at developing an addon feature for Vbulletin board where members can choose to ignore certain peoples posts. GPWA needs something like this, or is there anything already in our settings we can choose?

You can usually tell if a post is any good by reading the thread title. You can tell if a posts starts with, I have had enough... that it may not be worth reading all the posts and getting involved.

Yeah, if you can either help out people, you have a problem yourself or you want a laugh then this is what people want to read.

I know things sometimes go over the top around here. But consider that there are going to be assholes and "fragiles" in every crowd, and somebody's gonna lose an eye every now and then. We all know what an asshole is, but maybe not all realize what a fragile is. A fragile is somebody who is extremely sensitive and wants everybody to just get along, and is hurt when that doesn't happen. It never does, you know. Not without some meds and a frontal lobotomy or two. I try to do a reasonable job balancing between being an 'asshole' and fragile' myself.

I suppose the GPWA could be more vigilant with the moderating, but we're professionals here (sometimes) so people would surely get their backs up if they were treated like children every time they show a little 'excitement' in a post. Besides, readership skyrockets when disagreements flare up on the boards.

It is what it is, and people are made that way.

p.s. I sure would like to see more people respond to the thread about program performance!

I find it extremely puzzling that threads dealing with those type of "industry" issues get little attention and the threads dealing with favicons, videos, jokes, etc get all kinds of attention. IMHO that is very informative, well at least it is to me anyway.

I am starting to find your posts rather tiring. If you don't like what a person posts then don't carry on reading the thread. If members would like to argue about matters that you find trivial then I think it's there right to do so and you should leave them to it. Who died and made you the new sheriff around here?
