Exclamation Mansion Group has made the decision to leave the UK Market

Just got this email. It seems the UKGC have scared off another brand

We write to let you know that Mansion Group has made the decision to leave the UK Market.

Mansion has enjoyed serving UK customers for almost 20 years, but we are all aware of the increasingly challenging regulatory conditions that have led to much narrower paths to profitability and ultimately, the decision that Mansion has taken.

Moving into 2023 Mansion has exciting, global plans for its 3 brands – Casino.com, MansionCasino.com and Slotsheaven.com – and is eager to keep working with you to drive traffic and engagement through creative marketing, that we can turn into satisfied customers playing with our brands in a sustainable and responsible way.

Mansion has removed first deposit bonus offers from its UK-facing sites and will stop accepting registrations, deposits and bets in the UK on 12 January 2023. For the benefit of all our partners, we would ask you to cancel or switch off all campaigns for Mansion’s brands relating to the UK market. Final commissions relating to UK traffic will be calculated and paid in the February 2023 payment run. Please speak to your account manager directly if you have any questions at all as a result of this update.
We would like to finally advise that this is a confidential notification and remind you of your confidentiality obligations in the agreement between us.

Many thanks for your continued partnership.

Really funny what's going on there on UK market. The bureaucrats really don't care about the people, it's all just a show and power play.

Maybe we should start a new thread (3-4 years later than we should've): What are the best NON licensed UK casinos?

    That search term and related terms are growing in the UK;

The UK's going to end up like Sweden I reckon.

Yes, it is. There is a dude/s targeting those KW for few years now, i assume making xxx,xxx

The thing is i really don't want to rank for "non gamstop", just thinking to start listing non licensed casinos that will a. generate some value. b. don't take 40% in fees. c. will stop bothering me every second week with some more KYC/Compliance nonsense.

Just bear in mind that promoting non-UK licensed casinos in the UK is flat out illegal (ie: not a grey area). I don't know of any action by the UKGC against affiliates but they're very toothy with brands and they have prosecuted individuals for other things relating to illegal gambling in the past. If the whole non-UK thing became bigger I could see it in their crosshairs. Obviously if you're not in UK you may be less bothered but they could go down the blocking domain route.

Something else to consider is that a lot of the UK licensed brands wouldn't let you promote non-UK licensed brands that operate in the UK. I know of several big names that have said they'd close your aff account for doing this. So it makes it an either or scenario, not an optional alternative.

Thanks, yes, i am not there really, more annoyed by all that. I think i am spending 20% of my time on all those compliance updates +replacing brands that leave the market and so on, while making probably 5 times less per click than what i was making 5-7 years ago.

The UKGC don't seem to care, and nor does the UK gov. In the past I've contacting both UKGC licensed bookmakers and the UKGC about it and they've informed me that I couldn't promote both and that "they plan to take action".

Is a good example of a highly ranked site in the UK that promotes both, that the UKGC are aware of (used it as a reference), along with many of the UKGC licensed brands on that list.

    Incompetent as ever..

Since Roy Ezer quit as affiliate manager on November 15, 2021, everything seems to have gone downhill for the Mansion Group. However, they still have a Gibraltar license when checking.
