Default how to buy stocks of aff.networks ?

I was thinking if there is a way to buy stocks of some affiliate network?

I am totaly amatour with this and dont know how to start.
It would be ideal if some Aff. net would offer their stocks in exchange for profit made by some webmaster.

Does anyone have experience wit this ?

(I am living in Europe but my country not belong to EU)

If the affiliate network is a PLC, you can buy their shares via the stock market.

If the affiliate network is a private company, you could approach the owners / brokers of the affiliate network and see if you can do a private deal. However, this route is not for the inexperienced.

While I am sure there are more, the only company that I can think is purely affiliate based and publicly traded is ValueClick, which trades on the NASDAQ, (NAS:VCLK). Other than that, there are a number of publicly traded companies who also have a very solid affiliate program as part of their marketing effort, both gaming and non-gaming related. Bottom line, if this is an area of interest, I would suggest that you find a licensed investment advisor in your country. If you wish to do this on your own, find an online trading platform and setup an account.

As far as getting paid in paper (stock), it is best you get paid in cash, and then purchase the stock with the money in the market place. I don't know of anyone who would be willing to pay their affiliates in stock, but if there is then let me know, so I make sure to stay, far, far away from that potential investment. Selling equity in your company as a form of compensation for marketing, is a recipe for disaster, at least for investors.

I dont' know of any direct affiliate companies where stocks can be bought but you may like to try one of the software suppliers or gaming companies.

Playtech is an interesting one that springs to mind. It's shown fairly steady growth with a good rate of return over a number of years. A fairly steady share that outperforms regularly.

I use www.iii.co.uk as a resource and find some of the investing tools there really informative. However, a word of warning, if you are reading the forums, DO NOT buy on tips from the forums. You really have to do your own research when choosing a company to invest in and the forums have posters employed to ramp or devalue a share by spreading gossip and rumours.

Personally I think William Hill are a good gaming company to invest in after a dismal few years they seem to have turned the corner. However, as I said, do your own research to confirm anything before investing.

Don't know of anyone doing this but a great idea!! I'm not sure how this would work legally or for tax but a nice idea worth investigation by some worthy Affiliate Manager.

    Hi Doolally

Thank you very much for your inputs.

I registered at www.iii.co.uk and it seems it is a great site to trade.
But to be able to trade you need to be UK resident which I am not.

Is there another similar site for Non-UK residents ?

    Rgds,

I would think the easiest way would be to speak with your local bank. Most banks these days run an online dealing service and it's easy to switch money in and out of your share dealing account with your own bank.
