Facebook Page Unpublished

Hi,

I wondered if anyone has experienced this or had any problems with their pages being unpublished or if there is any way to remedy this?

I posted what I believed was allowable content, predominantly directing people to the tipping blogs and articles on my site and even spent close to 4 figures promoting these pages only to log on one day with the following message.

I appealed but have heard nothing back. Admittedly it may be naivety on my part but I am hit in the face with far more overt posts on a regular basis and Im disappointed that only now, after me spending so much with them that they should decide that im contravening any rules.

I don't know too much about it as I've not experienced it myself. There are 2 pages in the football accumulator niche that were affected.

The first Footy Accums - managed to come back after a few days. I assume some agreement was reached, probably not to post direct affiliate offers on the page.

The 2nd - FABT - with 300,000 likes has disappeared without a trace. Most likely because they didn't have website to fall back on.

Footy Accums took over 2 months to come back actually, I assume after some wrangling over what would be allowable content and over how much they probably had to pay off Facebook to allow them to keep their page.

FABT only just got hit right on the eve of the World Cup, which is obviously gutting for whoever runs that page. But I assume if they go down the same route as Footy Accums then they might come back at some point.

I can only assume Facebook only wants people who are willing to play by some very tight rules i.e. no affiliate links and probably a few other stipulations to do with gambling, but who are still willing to pay X amount per month to keep the page live.

It's certainly dampened any enthusiasm I had for doing anything gambling related on Facebook.

I did end up blocking Footy accums on facebook for a while as they became so offer driven.

Got to feel for FABT as it was entirely facebook only. Footy accums capitalised on their success in building a successful website and twitter following. Shows you need to keep your eggs in more than one basket.

Same here actually! They just were flooding my feed with too much crap so I ended up blocking it. They are a very professional outfit though and are a good example of how to diversify as an affiliate if you put the work in. They've also done the acca tracker and horse tracker apps.

Thanks for the info guys, - I was/have been concious not to overdo by way of posts let alone betting adverts because didn't want to barrage those who liked with too much. It was generally 1 or 2 at most a day and a lot of it was irreverent banter or highlighted article pieces - rarely when there was a particularly good betting offer I would promote.

Still no joy in what is an optimal time what with the WC taking place. Much frustrated!
